Mallard
This -10 is more like a DC 4 ½ than a 9... Here are some of the DC 9-10 on a flight departing from Monterey See? I told you it was Monterey... The flight was originally intended to go on to Lake Tahoe, but my computer has been playing up lately - and 10 minutes before the scheduled arrival it just froze and rebooted (better than the tearing of graphics and BSOD that I have been seeing from time to time when running pretty much any application) More or less cropped DX10s Cheers Mallard
Bermuda425
Jim-dandy set of shotz! And Lake Tahoe would have been the ideal scenic destination...

Stillwater
Nice documentation of the first part of the flight. I keep my fingers crossed you find a cure for your computer. Sometimes this can be totally without logic.
BradB
Impressive shots Mallard , what program or programs are you using for your weather generation ? . The clouds look very realistic . Cheers John
VH-KDK
Top class set, amazing how the DC-9 just got longer and longer as the years passed by, These early jets were so short, 737-100, 1-11, 727-100 and Trident. The last two shortness being accentuated by having the third engine.

mikewies
Really liked the shots... this model of DC-9 is a classic. I liked the shot on the KMRY ramp showing its size relative to today's regional jets.

Mallard
Thanks for the comments, mates! 19 hours ago, BradB said: Ihat program or programs are you using for your weather generation ? . The clouds look very realistic . Cheers John Thanks, John. @ all - the weather here is generated by ASN, the cloud textures are REX essential Cumuls Set 22, Cirrus Set 13. The sky texture is High Flyer. The date was November 12th at about 3 p.m. I was myself quite pleasantly surprised by what these programmes were throwing at the sim. And this plucky little plane sure hits the skies like a rocket on 30 %-filled fuel tanks... Before I knew it I was at 6,000 feet in pic 5 and quickly at 15,000 feet for the rest of the flight.
