Hi John

My sincere condolences to you. I lost my father three weeks ago, aged 95, after slowly loosing his fight for life.He had Cancer and fought it for nearly three years before passing away at the beginning of December.I honestly felt relief for him when he died because his suffering and pain were over  and, like you, I am sure he is in a better place.

My mother is still with us and it is to her that my effort must be directed now to make sure that she is never lonely.

May I wish you a healthy and peaceful 2016

Kind regards

Ian

Very sorry to hear of your loss John, my thoughts are with you and your family.

Lost Dad 3 1/2 years ago at 96. Had to hurry home from Thailand as he was taken ill with pneumonia.

Mum is 89 and lives next door to me as she refuses to go into care.

Not in the best of health though and I worry every time the phone rings.

Ian and Bluebear condolences to you both of you too.
