  1. And about an hour and a half later here we are in YBUD. Next stop YBPN. I saw a story that more people who can are taking private airplanes instead of putting up with the hassle of commercial flights.
  2. Ready to load up the Stationair for a flight from YBCG to YBUD.
  3. Excellent shots and tour of the coast.
  4. Orbx True Earth California on a flight from Ukiah, Ca to Medford Or.
  5. This is on a flight from Ukiah, Ca. to Medford, Or. The Carenado C337H in the skin of a Forest Service fire patrol aircraft.
  6. Nick, I was able to find two files specifically related to S07 and removed them to a new folder outside of P3D. below is a screenshot after removing the files, and when I ask P3d to load KBDN. When I ask PD to load S07 I still get something like this but with the second ghost airport below, even after removing the two files. The two files I was able to find and remove are: ADE_FTX_OR_S07_Bend_Mun_CVX.bglADE_FTX_OR_S07_Bend_Mun.BGL I was not able to find any vector files specifically related to either S07 or KBDN. Keep in mind that I never loaded earlier versions than 5.2 of P3D. Also, I have all the Orbx west coast regions as well as all the North America True Earth regions. I have to admit I find the file structure somewhat confusing. Any help you can give will be much appreciated. Bend is a fairly large city in Oregon and the location of the airport makes it central to Oregon.
  7. When I built my new computer three months ago I saved the SSD with all the FSX "stuff" on it and installed it in the new machine as one of the drives. I can access all the files but FSX won't run on the new machine. I still have the original installation disk and some day I may reinstall FSX, but for now I am enjoying P3D.
  8. KBDN is Bend Muni in Oregon. The airport seems to have one set of runways ghost leveled above another set of runways by 10 feet or so. Not sure which set is correct. Can this be fixed?
  9. The 170 is a simple airplane to fly and it has really good visibility out the front. Its excellent for low and slow flying.
  10. They are making some progress in controlling the fires. But even so today around Medford the smoke is really bad. The problem in Southern Oregon and Northern California is that during the summer months we get mostly dry lighting storms in which there is more lightning than rain. That and the unusually dry weather for Oregon plus the unusually warm summer days we are getting in recent years.
  11. A lot of FSX stuff can be ported over to p3d5.2hf1 and still works ok. Its one of the advantages of P3D.
  12. Here is the Corenado C337 at Klamath Falls Oregon. Rex Sky Force got the amount of smoke haze about right but I yellowed it up in post processing. This is what a lot of southern Oregon looks like now.
  13. Avsim is back now. I just downloaded a bunch of skins for the C337.
  14. This is a flight from San Luis Obispo to Cloverdale.
  15. I took this shot just after HF1 came out. Its somewhere in TE on the west cost but I don't remember where.
  16. Some more shots from Astoria to Yakama. Here we are in Yakama. The CT206H has three doors. One for the pilot up front on the left and two on the right for the third and forth row passengers. In the sim they are called cargo doors. When you pull in at the gate and open the cargo doors, airport vehicles will rush out to unload your airplane. Of course, we have all seen this before. Probably if there were explosions it would make a good YouTube video. I think the CT206H is one of Carenado's better efforts.
  17. I had Fly Tampa Martinique and Los Vegas in FSX and I have Martinique for P3D. I would go for Las Vegas and maybe a couple of others if they became available through Orbx Central.
  18. This a on a flight from Astoria to Yakama.
  19. OK, on a flight from Hobby 77S to Salem KSLE it did finally come up in the nearest airport list but you have to get close to the airport. I think the problem maybe there are so many airports around Salem that some of them have to get culled off the list before Salem will show up. Must be some limit to how many can be on the list. Also, when I moved to another gate I wound up in from of the same ugly terminal building that's at KMFR only at KSLE its about 2 feet off the ground.
