  1. I made this transition from FSX to P3D back in May. There was no cost for the Orbx products I already had and the transition was easy and straight forward. Since them I have bought more Orbx products as they go on sale. Works out pretty good.
  2. This is a flight from Edmonton to Kelowana crossing the northern Rockies at 16,500 feet in the CT210. This image reminds me of a joke I used to tell my friends out at the flying club. "Of all the planets I've ever visited, Earth is my favorite."
  3. One of the things I used to do when there was a natural catastrophe like an earthquake in Haiti is fly in to the location in a DC-3 or some other transport, heavily loaded, and when I landed I would make a contribution to the Red Cross. For effect I sometimes would cut autogen back to near zero. I had gotten away from that, but this is a good opportunity to do that sort of thing again for Haiti.
  4. Here we are again. This time in the Carenado CT-210 in a fire patrol livery I found at Avsim. Its turbocharged, 310 hp so you can fly high and fast This is a short flight from Medford, Oregon to Rohnerville, Ca
  5. Here we are in the Carenado Cessna 337 climbing out just south of Monterey on the way to Santa Barbara. Sim date of this shot is 10-4-21 and these are fall colors coming up in True Earth California.
  6. One of my favorite airplanes. NIce shots!
  7. This is a flight from Portland, Oregon to Walla Walla, Washington if I remember correctly. I have enjoyed flying the Carenado S360. There is not much you have to do to set up a flight. Its not pressurized so you have to stay down where you can see the scenery. So far the only failure is from over taxing the engines wasn't doesn't end well.
  8. At some point there was talk of Boise, Id for P3D. What happened to that?
  9. Nice shot. Which developer is that P-51? Love that Orbx scenery in the bottom right corner!
  10. That's really quite nice. A lot of shots of Airplanes on the ground are taken from too high up. A shot at eye level is much more realistic.
  11. Very nice. Lots of greenery in those mountains
  12. This in Lake Almanor in north eastern California. The little town in Chester, Ca and that's Rogers field, on a flight from Medford, Oregon to Reno, Nevada in the SD360.
  13. Thematically really very nice.
  14. Great Shots. I need to get back east.
  15. With sceneries like True Earth I suppose it must be a team effort so maybe somebody has to be assigned to deal with updates.
  16. Great airplane and great to see it in the air. I flew it around the world a couple of times in FSX. Thanks!
  17. Michael, I have mostly western US scenery and I find problems and report them but I don't think the western US is near the top of the list right now for updates.
  18. i have not seen updates to any of the scenery products for some time. I wonder if Orbx has anyone working on updates?
  19. This is on a flight from Redmond Oregon to the Tri Cities airport in Southern Washington state.
  20. Early morning view of Mt. Shasta from the backside. Usual view is from Highway 5 which is on the other side. Actually it looks about the same from both sides. Good view from the cockpit of the S360. There is a little fan behind the curly cord on the up left which you can turn on, watch the blades spend, and be virtually cooled as you fly along. Also there are cup holders. Still heading north from Redding to Redmond.
