Thanks Jack. I don't know about the accuracy but I don't think it would be suitable for your friend!

A Little Bit of B&W, A Little Bit of Color...

A beautiful set Darryl. Some great scenery of Orly as well, plenty going on at ground level. -
A great view from up there. Nice hazy sky too.

Wonderful images Jack. It is over 50 years since I spent a day in Edinburgh but it looked like an intersting place. I have always wanted to visit the Tattoo but watching it on the laptop is the nearest I will ever get.

This Week's Meaningless Topic (#103)(Aug 26)
VH-KDK replied to Rodger Pettichord's topic in The Neil Hill Memorial Lounge
C for sure. I did a half day trip to Mount Rainier and I didn't want to go back to where I was staying as I loved the scenery so much. The view from the trail we took as well as all the wildlife was just heaven to me. It was strange, the first place I walked a trail on Vancouver Island, reading the information board warning about Cougars and Bears and what to do if confronted by one. We have a forest along the river where I live and you have to be like a Chameleon. One eye on the ground for snakes one eye ahead and a third would be handy in the back of your head looking out for two legged snakes! -
I think many of us have dabbled in the weed and have our stories. Not happy up a ladder but anything between a Kit Fox and an A380 I can be up there all day!

Many thanks for your comment Calum.

Thanks Gerold. It looks good from this quick first flight but time is tight at the moment to look into trying to fly it properly. A long way from from Alaska indeed, it followed me home!

Orbx Product: YBBN Brisbane. Orbx Partner Product: AU Scene YBNA Ballina. Australia Update by Microsoft with work by Orbx A simple plane for a simple flyer! In my small 2020 hangar I hadn't got a plane to cover larger distances higher and faster. So I bought this to add an extra dimension to my attempts at flying. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. It looks good from up there which is why I splashed out on this plane. Cheap and quite nasty but they are working on it!

I like the detail in these rustic views and you are on a roll in the last image! -
An excellent finale to the flight Paul. Breathtaking views of Mount Blanc and a beautiful last image of your King Air with the valley and lake in the background.
-
Yes, it needs just a few additions like that to make it perfect.
-
You are not alone Paul, I did the same at Changi the other day .

Terrific set of views Andreas. Not even the struggle of high altitiude flying could wipe the smile off your cub's face.
-
Departures are very exciting times especially in a picturesque area such as this. I like Rainier on the horizon. Wonderful images as usual.

Wonderful images Jack and I am dreading the next sale!
-
Mountains of excellent images here Paul. Is the King Air a default plane? (You can admit to it, I often fly the Cessna 152 amongst others!)
-
Surely it is never good to discover a moving train by accident!

Splendid set of images Paul I like the design of the airport building, it looks like a butterfly.

I could have sworn you were in the middle east flying over Meshopotamia! -

Incredible images Jack. Fantastic mountain scenery made even better by the low lying clouds. -
I can remember very thick fogs when I was young back in the late 50s, living on the SW edge of London. Also I can remember seeing public service ads on the tv asking people to limit burning coal fires to try and avoid the smog. I hadn't passed my driving test very long and I drove home one night at walking pace as the fog was so thick. That was in Bournemouth in 1974. Here in Victroria a 100 yard visibility mist is a thick pea souper. Anyway Carlos that is a great image.
