After a short hop in the morning from there I went with United out of Chicago... ... over Minnesota. The simulator showed the ground cold and white, ... ... whilst reality made it cold and brown... ... with frozen lakes. Hours later we came to Lake Pend´Oreille... ... and Spokane. Nicely shown. The meeting point of Columbia and Spokane River... ... and Coulee Dam. Both quite famous spots in the PNW scenery, and well known to us simmers since at least 10 years. Mount Baker in the distance. The window seat pays off... In the sim Seattle appeared as rainy as so often, ... ... but I was luckier.
