Baby Steps ....

I find FILOU @FILOU absolutely awe inspiring.:)

He is a true master of the art

And so trying to learn , I took the plunge.  It is hard folks , really , really hard .

But I learned a lot of things that I didn't know in the process and that was a good thing.

That's the thing about a true guru, they make it  look easy , but it isn't.   However in the process of trying,  it made me think about things that I only had a vague

understanding about. And that's the thing about an expert in his craft, trying to do it yourself makes you better your own skills

Thank you for what you do for us FILOU. I am grateful

I hope that this first attempt has some merit

Cheers

R

Nope , not even close

Later, much later and (I counted - 43 screenshots) it may have some possibilities.

But like I said , he makes it look so easy and it is very far from that.

These are excellent Pete, the masters like Iain and Filou make it look so easy and keep me coming back. You are getting there, that's for sure.

John.

Thanks John

The more I have fun trying  the more I've learned that those that make it look easy have put an incredible effort into honing their skills .

Cheers:)

Each of us has a niche - some more developed than others but go with what you like.  Picasso, Rembrandt, Van Gogh or Norman Rockwell - it's a personal thing.

It's all in the wrist action I think :)

But this modern stuff sometimes . Perhaps in their world it would be like they had a brush that one day worked just fine and the next just kept slipping out of their hand and crashing to the floor, just because it seemed it could.  But then it all comes together and its just plain amazing, and you forget the trials and tribulations  :)

Cheers!
