VH-KDK
1. At 3288ft Saddle Mountain is the highest peak in Clatsop County, OR. 2. The difficult hike to the tallest of the peaks gives a wonderful view of the Pacific Ocean as well as all of the major prominent peaks of the area. 3. The mountain was formed 15 million years ago when lava met with the sea causing steam explosions and thermal shocks.
