A bit of Kiwi history

I'm trying to limit my spending on P3D - saving up for more XP11 aircraft or maybe even later for MSFS 2020.

Anyway - the Bristol Freighter is very much part of Kiwi aviation history and not too expensive, so I got suckered in! Here's half a dozen - takenn from a trip from NZAA to NZOM (Omaka):

The Bristol Freighter does look like something out of a childrens' catrtoon book, but it has lots of character - and the VC is well modelled.

Flew in one WLG to Nelson, around 1964.

It was primarily freight carrying & if you wanted to fly with your car, (in this case a VW Beetle), they bolted in,(in our case), 4 seats, & dropped a tarpaulin to separate 1st class from the vehicle.:)

I recall it was noisy & unpressurized , but a lot quicker than the Inter islander boat ferry across Cook Strait, to Picton.

For sure a trip down memory lane.

Where does one find the aircraft Adam?
