Lovely shots, John. I trust you have turned your loudspeaker to max, to inhale the engines' roar :D

Thanks, glad you like the shots.  Nothing like the sound of radial engines, better than a jet !!!!!!!!!!:D

A great route in a well-suited plane, John. And just before Winter clashes in.

Thanks Gerold.  No snow but it rained most of the way.

Great trip John - beautiful country.  When I worked at JNU, our tower was the lower glass enclosure in your final shot - essentially just the third floor of the terminal.

Thanks ond.  Didn't know you there, bet it is a beautiful place  to live.

Simple a perfect set John!  It's been ages since I've been there in the sim, one thing I've always loved about Ketchikan is the lower level parking.

Thanks Jack.  You need to do a flight there again Jack, great place to fly.

Nice, John. I specially liked the contrast between the old and new Alaska planes--both workhorses. Thanks!

Thanks for the commenting Rodger!!!!!!!!!!  The DC-3 is one of my favorite aircraft.

Actually my first Tower job '69-'70, worked in FSS at Yakutat and McGrath before that.  Like all beauty spots, when it was nice it was gorgeous but boy did it rain and snow.
