Jack Sawyer
This time a 737 flight from the South Island to the northern one. Only about an hour. Hilo, PHTO to Lihue, PHLI. Had to do a missed approach. Coming around again for an autoland.

bvdboomen
Good flying Jack. I don't have big long haulers but when I had them in FSX, I sometimes took one for a flight. BTW, no PTA yet in your v4.4?

Thanks Wain, it’s beautiful and I’m sure it’ll be even beer when Orbx improves it.

Stillwater
Nice little airliner transfer, Jack. And a go-around is nearly as good as a bridge approach!

Thanks Gerold! Haven’t done a by the book go-around for a while so it was very rewarding to do it successfully by the book.

Rodger Pettichord
Hey Jack. Very satisfying approach shots. And I enjoyed the lurking cloud cover. I kept waiting for a socked in full monty and was relieved when you got down without it. Thanks!

Wakashi
You may have missed the approach Jack but you knocked a homerun with this series of the lovely Hawaiian scenery, great job!

Thanks Roger, actually I don't mid the missed approach, it allows me to practice more of them. I've been spending more time really going beyond the study level aspect and flying the PMDG jets by the book. SIDs, STARs, various approaches from ILS to NDB to RNAV GPS and having a grand time learning and doing all this.
