I have been toying with buying the Carenado SAAB 340, I thought I would hold off for a few weeks but then I got a message tonight from Mr Jan Kees.

So here I am.

A couple of interior views to start off with.

I have flown on this plane both with Kendell and then later with REX.

Taking off from YBWW Wellcamp.

The airport is a bit quiet today, I think they are out parrot hunting!

5.nHB9BPx.jpg

A beautiful plane that handles really well.

6.ZFLfr1e.jpg

Great sound and the livery is just the best.

7.QRpq8SA.jpg

Gear down and getting ready to land.

8.uOT2OSa.jpg

In my excitement I forgot to check the runway heading and I am hopelessly to port.

Never mind, here goes.

9.jJZA2qe.jpg

I cannot believe that.

A beautiful cockpit, I will have to now make the effort to see what everything does.

There we are, what a wonderful plane and this was one of my typical Ctrl+e flights.

The only disappointment is that the lady with the big cones is absent.

Well done Carenado, I like this plane very much

Many thanks Jan for your wonderful livery enabling me to fly in P3DV4.0.

Man, what images !  I had to look two or three times at the first two to see if they were real !

Thank very much, both Carenado and Jan have done a magnificent job, I am well and truly chuffed tonight.

Brilliant livery & landing Martyn.

From your post title I was expecting you would use a yellow plane with the gear up.

Thank you Gerold, I am not sure if there is a yellow one in this release.

With all the liveries in the Virtualcol one you would think there would be a yellow one there.

This is an awesome flight Martyn, made so by that special livery from Jan on your new aircraft! Some of those first shots are on another level of quality!

Thanks Landon, I am very pleased with both the livery and the plane.:)

Very nice plane Martyn. Didn't see the beer fridge close to the flightdeck where it should be I hope it's there and working well:P:D

No room for a fridge Karl but we do fill the outer tanks with beer and have a pipe running to the cockpit.;)

The steep banking during the flight is not due to any inebriation of the crew but to get the last dregs out of the tanks.B)

It wouldn't do to waste any would it!

Excellent shots, Martyn!

I loved the few Rockford, IL- Detroit rides I took in these beauties.

Steve

Thank you Steve, I have always liked flying in the SAABs but now I live nearer to Melbourne it is only a 2 hour drive.

I flew on this plane many times which is why I chose it for my name.;)
