There must be a glass floor in parts of the jetway!

Glorious series Jack and must have been a wonderful flight.

Those hills are high, as I mentioned to someone else my C-46 was working very hard to get over them on a flight heading west out of Bogota the other night.

All very nice Jack - but something about the 4th shot kind of appeals to me..:)

Thanks Magic, I like it too, flying a magic carpet to South America.  Dig it.

Impressive Jack.  I like the 777, but just not sure on that price tag.  Maybe after  I'm done my exploring in the GA side of flying.  :)

Thanks JJJ, yeah, it's a lot but I wanted study level so there's that, but it's a lot to learn.

Thanks Martyn!  I know, South America is totally different that almost anywhere else on Earth.  It seems like everything Is above 10K feet!

Thank you Iain!

Very nice.  I found you a shorter leg while hunting for routes for me: KLM hops over the hill from Santiago, Chile to Ezeiza, Argentina.  Only a couple of hours.

Thanks Mickel, where did you find it?  I used PFPX.

Very nice set of screen shots Jack like the aircraft and the livery regards stewart

Thanks Stewart, I thought I'd try something a little more realistic.

Very nice set of shots, Jack. I'm glad someone else sees two control towers next to each other at KMIA. I always thought it was a glitch, since I have double towers sometimes, but perhaps there are really two towers...

Thanks Lars, never been to Miami in real life but perhaps they do have two, I dunno.

Nice shots! I have to check out OpenLC-ed Colombia a bit more. Also look at the local jetway design :D

Thanks Juan, it's definitely nice, as for the jetways, I've seen this all over the world.  I think it's just the way it is.

I use Flightaware for all of my leg planning for current stuff.

For ye olde aeroplanes I use:

http://www.timetableimages.com/

I've used this to sort out where to fly the Panair do Brazil Connie, and various other Connie, DC-6, Stratocruiser etc routes.

For less ye olde aeroplanes I use:

http://www.departedflights.com/

I use this one a lot for finding DC-9, MD-11, BAe-146, 737-200 etc flights.  I guess I'll have to use it for the 747-400 when I get that too...

All the legs I pick out go into PFPX, then I use it to plan (or copy the RW route if it's available from flightaware).  I put the airline and aircraft type in the 'Schedule Remarks' so I know what I should be using it for.
