Educational flight from Miramar to Yuma.

 

First I found out that the aggressor squadron at Miramar used to keep a T-2C buckeye, great plane, for spin training to help mitigate accidents due to air combat training at Top Gun. Even wears a Red Aggressor star and NJ tail code!

Second fact. I had no idea that the Gulf of California was visible from aircraft flying the US southern border. This was taken near 20kft

Ashamed to say I had heard of the Imperial Valley, but never of the Imperial Sand Dunes. Very cool!

I find the geography and history of places so interesting, all brought to life in the ORBX world
