Crossing the lake southwards... ... over Tokaanu Hydro plant, ... ... climbing over huge forests ... ... towards the Red Crater, ... ... Emerald Lake ... ... and the high plains of Mordor. Mount Doom (aka Mt. Ngauruhoe), the right place to destroy the Ring. Mt. Ruapehu, the southernmost peak of the area. And finally descending over well-cultivated land... ... not into Minas Tirith, but to Waiouru. Please stay assured the scenery chase will be continued, even though we have already reached Mt. I must admit that I have not seen any of the Lord of the Rings movies or read the book so a lot of this is lost on me. One of those things I must get round to one day.
