My final flight......

.......from my old desks.

Santa has come early this year and brought me a couple of new desks for me to sit at.

So one last sortie and get ready for the change.

The desk and chair on the left are the original ones from my first com in 1997, not counting the Commodore 64 that is.

So a flight from Temora in the Realair Spitfire.

Well that is it for the next few hours. Remove the old desks, a quick vac, although thorough clean was done 1 month ago when the NBN was installed, and get the new desks in .

With the rise of FS, the term "flying a desk" has a whole new meaning!

Clearly your cockpit did not have sufficient space. So I´d like to see the new design soon!

Vacuuming only one month ago? That must be sufficient for a men´s office. The rest should be done by the Huntsbacks.

Cheers Gerold. Before that it was maybe a year but it was lucky I did the cleaning, read below.

Vacuuming is so over-rated.  Congrats on the new desk, and enjoy the holidays.

Thanks Ripcord but it saved big trouble. Read at the end of the post.

Thanks John, with the next three days over 40c the last thing we need is to start a fire, either inside or outside.

Thank you Iain.

Many thanks for your great comments guys, made me laugh.

Now to the serious stuff, I made an alarming discovery when cleaning up[. I decided to put the brush attachment on the Dyson and give the keyboard and tower the once over. Started doing the top of the tower and saw the filter above the water cooler was clogged with dust, all I could see was white. So I went around the whole tower and cleaned out every vent etc. So now I regularly check to make sure there is no build up of dust any where. Do any of you do the same or are you more aware than me about keeping the dust at bay.
