I don't know how - or care - but some clever person in Orbx seems to be getting the A'c everywhere I note - that no matter where I leave or land - the Optica is there Today I landed at a very obscure Aussie Army landing field in the major QNLD training zone - and there it was !!

Slight Change from the Connie Some of us could talk about Cyprus all Day - like FYI - the large Salt Lake is called Lazarus Lake and just to the right of the runway approach is his tomb which was his second one In 2020 - I have been learning the free Chopper HS 135 and there is an Aircraft Carrier just off shore to the SE and choppered from there all the way to my old tent space at Episkopi - which is now has a married pad built in the space - and went to Akrotiri to land The top of Olympus was a challenge- should have made a video

My comments were about Australia - and that's all I care for - no where else because - with the exception of the MSFS UK - I wouldn't know or care about the accuracy other parts in the sim at this time and I do actually enjoy flying in other countries - Bing correct or otherwise I don/t know whether you are right about Canberra - But I do know that the Bing in the Gold Coast is not the up to date Sat. in Bing Maps today

Hi John I won't ask you to quantify "most" - but will ask - "why is it that so much fuss and Hype is being made about the 4 scenery updates so far - 2 more this year and - 5 next year" Is it because we were sold the idea that the sim would be live details - with up to date Bing scenery and weather? - and someone is trying to correct that Hype? I really like MSFS and fly it everyday - between 500 and 5000 feet - VFR and IFR - in GA aircraft - and do enjoy the scenery as such - and this is made better by all the dozens of freeware airports and scenery provided by good people all over Australia who give up their time - trying to improve - and or make a better job - of fulfilling the promise. As an avid MS fan for near 40years - both on PC and X Box - I feel entitled to a little piqued at what we were promised a year ago - and still waiting - hence my earlier comments

What's the point in them spending valuable time on anything Australian -when the scenery for MSFS is 7 years old The time spent on the Sydney cityscape was to probably to relieve the embarrassing thought of being associated with what was originally offered by Asobo Makes more sense to wait for an Australian Update which can't be to soon away and probably a priority in the 5 promised for 2022 What's the guessing?? - Orbx working on just that update for Asobo at this moment

I have to smile - at you blokes being "Newbies" - maybe a new partner for Orbx with the 145 ? and - as for "Ooo'can't wait" - you saw all the Helli spots waiting for the 135 and 145

Thanks Nick for that I already had actually done a full install after deleting all - and I am part way thro' reloading all my Orbx from Central a fresh Problem didnt occur on my first try this morning

Yes ! - exactly the same drawn out Terrain - and then at 100% - the top menu and pause statement - on a Black screen - no aircraft I havent tried it since - went to bed - frustrated

In my Case Jack -yes to Reality DTN and my A2a Commanche - Orbx that worked in 5.1 seems to be OK so far Install - asks do you want Reality GTN

This video shows a much more realistic approach to a review of the Optica - rather than the ones that show the aircraft doing a general cross country VFR IMHO and it doesnt do any harm to the Orbx scenery either - only justice - nice one Rob

Interesting Iain - looks good - I have'nt tried MSFS in Africa yet - so might wait a while until next OAP date for this latest offering - which is another subject for the Optica to play around in
