I have been testing Orbx scenery since UD 5 / patch 2 - LONDON CS needs work - Brisbane CS - Singapore CS are OK and airports Southport - no good - and Liverpool OK The new UK Central POIs looks OK - Blackpool and Liverpool and in accordance with the "Liverpool Lullaby" - We have a Cathedral to spare - and TG - the Pier Head's still There " - "Despite Mr Hitler!"

Speaking of Old Farts - I learned a new word the other day As OLD FARTS - we have all suffered the indignity of an "accident" from time to time - whilst letting one go ---- The word is "SHART" (Just noticed - the spell checker left it alone??)

Ah!! - in OZ - I am defined as a returned serviceman and qualify for membership - because I returned for active service and I had to show my medal (GSM with clasp ) to prove it and it applies to all pommes who have the same.

Yesterday - it was our 63rd anniversary - (+5.5yrs courting) - She who must be obeyed - made me stop simming and take her out for a lunch meal and a play on the pokies - at the local RSL (services club for old army Farts) She played the pokies - I sunk 3 schooners of good beer

Rotor Sim Pilot - I mentioned earlier - and a few friends are developing 2 more freeware choppers for 2020 - H124 +R44 which will be released early September

Since I started this thread elsewhere and commented here - I feel that I must comment further - and agreeing with what Nick said When asked the question sometime ago - Anna made it clear - the intentions of Orbx were to somehow integrate our current P.C. purchases for those of us who intended to go to X Box Series X sometime in the future. Every man and his dog on this forum should know by now that I am a big fan of X box - and every intention of doing most of my flight simming via the console - with the exception of certain uses of P3D and X Plane that MS2020 cannot give me - and only needs my mid range PC to enjoy. particularly my huge aircraft hangar of older type aircraft Being the impatient bloke I am - and I can't get my hands on a console - due to the shortages - I have purchased quite a number of Orbx scenery and Just Flight aircraft - because of the simple fact that I have been purchasing "stuff" from both these companies for in excess of 15 years - and they have never let me down - so I trust them. What has become fairly obvious since last August - is that Orbx and other major developers have made 2020 what it is today - and the size of peoples Community Files - further indicates the reliance - of the future of the sim - on said developers and cadre of free developers Now we have an X Box version at last - BUT - and it is a big BUT - does the X box version - include all the multitude of these scenery -etc- addons used in the PC - EG. the Orbx Cityscapes - Airports - the aircrafts from Aerosoft - Miviz - Flying Iron - etc I don't - know the answer - but unless said developers have done a deal with MS that the industry is aware of - I doubt it - and if that is the case - then the X Box will fail to grow as MS have forecast recently Microsoft needs these developers - to grow X box users to flight simming - and need the sim to be developed for both PC and Consoles - on the way they have been spruking - the massive developments - in the use of gaming - and methods My conclusion - MS and the developers are still crossing the "T" and the "I's" of a deal to do what the user - ME!! - expects them to do - to give us the sim we have started to enjoy - based on developers - and maybe a solution on the ines of the current 3rd party Community file - a MS Official file - and a paid developer file - used by Orbx Central and others. A monetary adjustment made to MS. Whatever happens - if I cant get get what I have already purchased for Orbx PC - then so be it - it wont be the fault of Orbx for not trying and I will still use my games pass to use a limited Flight sim on the console Now - where can I get my Hands on an X box series X

I just made a comment to Wayne71 on the subject - I have watched a number of videos comparing the S and X Conclusion was --- I gain nothing from the S compared to my mid range PC - but the X is so much better and other comparisons show that the X is around the best PC power in 4KHDR10 Although in OZ the difference is $250 - I will keep hoping one will come to me one day - and meanwhile - I'll Low and slow VFR in 2020 - and Fly all my oldie birds in a Mass of Orbx goodies in my 50" HD - and keep my 43' 4K until someone higher smiles at me

I can't comment on the whole package - but if this indicates what accuracy will be found on a multitude of Northern England POI's - then I have just spent $A 18 very well to wander around my beginnings in the North for my first 36 years At the early part of MS2020 I was noted for wingeing about the quality of Blackpool - I place I have lived in - and just couldn't take the quality - but I found a freeware on the "addon site" that changed the worth of a constant visit - and now I need to see if this Orbx has stuffed it up or it's a marriage, If not then I guess I just have to give up a decent Blackpool - and enjoy 99.5% of the rest of North England Oh Wain --- I think that's a definite yes

Orbx FYI Its Sunday PM here in OZ - and subject is on Central - but Cart will not recognize product - and "Install and Pay" won't take the money. Here was I - an Ex Blackpool Kid - in Lockdown on the Gold Coast Australia -wanting to visit the Pleasure Beach - and Walk on 3 Piers - climb the Tower --etc ----etc and Here I am ---- now in tears

Absolutely !! Literally ! - an Orbx region! I will keep harping about the fact that the Bing scenery is 7 years out of date - and the sea levels are about 2 metres above High Tide Rob mentioned the Whitsundays - an area I know well - take a look at the NON Whitehaven Beach and Hill inlet, one of the most famous beaches in the World - the non existent Marinas on Hamilton Island - and in my own town on the Broadwater - not to mention the great huge beaches the Gold coast is famous for Orbx please - forget the rest of the World - "you/we are Australian" ---- to coin a famous slogan. Make one of the 5 updates next year - an Australian one - and please help Asobo get the vectors right with sea levels

you were not alone - it happened to me when I came back after 12 months Told someone else was using the name - and my recorded password didnt work so I just rejoined - new name - new password - but I lost my records and purchases and comments made over time Maybe there was a glitch somewhere back when Orbx started to grow

I am going to guess at Brisbane - being not far away - and also because I think the photo is of a well known British actress who recently made a series on the Gold Coast for Foxtel entitled "END" I stopped watching the programme since at 86yo - I discovered it took place in an old persons retirement village and Euthenasia the main subject
