Hello,
I think, from reading the input, that is the only difference.
My guess would be that the developer wanted to produce two versions and
decided that this was their chosen way to do it.
Obx Central of course has a control panel that might have been used to the same effect,
or perhaps we will never know if that was an option as well.

Hello,
indeed I can't find YBBN in the drop down menu at Orbx Direct either.
This is the link from the product release announcement:
YBBN Brisbane International Airport - X-Plane 12 - Orbx (orbxdirect.com)
The answer to your second question is one that has not been shared with the support staff.

Hello,
at most times of the virtual day, this effect does not occur, so the product works pretty well, considering that it is for the previous version of X Plane.
The beauty of a simulator is that one can choose the time of day, regardless of the time of day.
I have never understood the desire to fly at night over accurate and in many cases, beautiful photo scenery, but these simulators are whatever
the user wants them to be.

I don't want to seem awkward John, but don't Orbx know what product they are selling?
The title at Orbx Direct does seem to be pretty clear:
SamScene3D Gibraltar Scenic Life (GA version)

Hello,
first create the new and empty folder where you want your library to be.
Then open this page in Orbx Central and delete the existing library, just click on the Delete button.
This only deletes the record of the library in Obx Central, it does not touch the files.
Select "Create a new library" and do so, using any name that you want to in the Library Name box
but set the target to your new folder in the Library Path box.
Click on Save.
Then go to your previous library files location and copy the entire xp11 folder from there into your new folder.
Once you have done that, you can delete the original library folder.

Hello,
I am fairly sure that this issue was identified and passed back to the developer.
However, events in his home country, Ukraine, have overtaken any fix for now.

Hello,
everyone has their own preference, Discord can be very useful and it is what you want it to be, but
in essence, it is just a means of communication.
For the record, Orbx do not use it for formal customer support, but of course, just like these forums, peer to peer
support can be just as valuable and occasionally, Orbx staff may contribute as well.

Hello,
thanks for your enquiry.
The update was released on 16th July, 3 months and 16 days ago.
Are you still having problems?
-
Hello,
I have moved your topic to the MSFS peer to peer forum.
You might get a wider audience if you try the Avsim forum as well.

Hello,
I made this one first, it is Global Base as "default".

Hello,
please have a look here:
the screenshots in that topic are in FSX and are mine, with no added software.
They also look the same as those on the product pages.

Hello Wayne,
thanks for your comment, it does come with these:
and the User Guide can be read at Orbx Direct, without the need to buy the aircraft: LINK
I can think of a great many aircraft models that I have downloaded over the years that did not include
"a full manual with tutorial."
There is a bewildering amount of information in both this document: https://usermanual.wiki/Document/PacificAerospacePAC750XLPOH.2114406947/view
and on this web page: PACIFIC AEROSPACE PAC 750XL OWNER'S MANUAL Pdf Download | ManualsLib
There is also real world advice here: PAC 750XL Skydiving Aircraft - DiverDriver.com
and how to jump out of it here: LINK

Hello Pecker,
please place this file into NA Southern Alaska\ORBX\FTX_NA\FTX_NA_SAK05_SCENERY\scenery
and let it overwrite the existing file.

Hello,
I have sent an email to their public email address.

Hello,
I don't have them all but I do see the same as you do.
The file structure looks nothing like that shown by Smudger.
-
Hello,
I believe that the airport sold at Orbx Central is by FSimStudios.
Is that MSFS or P3D?

Hello Ken,
if they are programs, then the file is C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\exe.xml
How to install OrbxCentral in a different directory
in Microsoft Flight Simulator
Posted
Hello,
assuming that you are using Windows,
you cannot install Orbx Central other than into the appdata folder on the C drive.
It uses less than 500 MB of disc space and can be set so that it does not add to the C drive
content when working.
