  1. Wow! A Mork and Mindy reference! Loved that show! If I only had a flying egg....thanks for the birthday wishes! That is my understanding....only have one flight in her so far, need some more stick time.
  2. Oh Don, I love me some A2A B-17G...I have flown many hours in that bird in FSX but I have NOT gotten it for P3D...yet....I have every other A2A bird that they upgraded for P3D, but the B-17 was the last one and I have been procrastinating on getting her. I need to change that I will look forward in earnest to your coming screenshots
  3. You are not belated at all...it's still my birthday where I am and it's barely 1600 And thank you!
  4. Looks like an interesting aircraft. Nice screenshot
  5. Yes, some day Gerold. You and the wife ,of course, are always welcome to stop by Colorado for a visit when you are able to travel again. I always have a guest room and bathroom ready and prepped for visitors
  6. Thanks for clearing the air Wolfgang, I appreciate that. Like I said, I have always appreciated our virtual sim friendship for years since we both found Orbx scenery. I also can understand your frustration, as I have seen that type of complaining across the board across all platforms be it the P3D vs. FSX crowd, or the P3D vs. XP crowd, or low and slow crowd vs. the tubeliner crowd or the Star Trek vs Star Wars crowd etc, etc. etc...anyhow, all is good and thanks for the birthday wishes too
  7. Awesome helo shots here Johnny....super cool looking
  8. Just a short exploratory flight over downtown Chicago after taking off from KPWK Chicago Executive in my Cessa C140 in MSFS. Chicago Landmarks scenery by Drzewiecki Design, KPWK Chicago Executive by FlightFX and the Cessna C140 by Aeroplane Heaven. Approaching downtown Chicago after flying from KPWK. Some low clouds as we get close. Out over Lake Michigan, headed back over the city, into the evening sun. Flying over the Windy City and checking out the view looking straight down into the sea of tall buildings. And after checking out what used to be the venerable Meigs Field, we turn the C140 back to the north to head back to Chicago Executive as it's getting late and more cloudy, and no VOR/OBI or GPS installed in this particular Cessna. And, we have made it back to KPWK Chicago Executive and time to bring this little bird down safely, park and go find a local pub for a birthday drink or two Thank you all for coming along on my little flight...cheers! Landon
  9. That is nicely illuminated shot John
  10. Love it Don! Always a soft spot with me when it comes to Warbirds. Great shots
  11. Thanks! I don't think I'll drink that many beers, but I will definitely have a few Thank you John! And that I shall Rodger, thanks! Sure Gerold, you can call me that if you like....plus, I am both a Star Trek and Star Wars fan, so it works there too. And yes, soon, very soon, ski season will be upon us here in Colorado and I shall be enjoying the winter mountains! Can't wait! Thank you Iain, I will be enjoying it with Indy the Cat....it's his birthday too! Thank you Wain! Cheers Graeme, thank you mate! I fully intend to do just that here once I finish replying to this thread Don...just bought a new plane (the MilViz Corsair for MSFS) and some new scenery so need to go exploring! Thanks for the birthday wishes! Thank you Craig, and glad to know I haven't been boring everyone...lol. Of course Greg, my pleasure and thank you! I am now retired after 28 years of service Thank you Sumdger Thank you John, much appreciated! Thank you Ken!

  13. A truly fun, exciting and scenic virtual trip over the majesty that is Alaska....well done! Cheers! Landon
  14. Now that is one odd and interesting looking amphibian aircraft. Some great scenic shots of the Alaskan countryside and terrain!
  15. Beautiful shots of Split! I visited there once in the late 90's and it was super beautiful in real life too! Very enjoyable, peaceful place
  16. Nice hiking photos John Looks like some good looking mesh that I need to pick up

  18. Love these Iain, great show with the Corsair
  19. Pete, some very nice shots of this new scenery. I especially like the shots of the scenes on the tarmac
  20. That would be awesome Carlos! I am a big time Indiana Jones fan....even my cat is named Indiana Jones, but you must call him Dr. Jones
  21. What a cool couple of shots Johnny. It's like something right out of a government conspiracy flick
  22. Yep, I agree...some nice looking water and nice shot of the plane and Catalina Island
  23. What a great thread this turned out to be thanks to @Stillwater and @carlosqr ! A great flight sim story, some screenshots of the flight along with a pic of the flight route on a map, followed up by several real world photos of some of the POI's...great job you two! It reads just like a little adventure brochure! Nice! The only thing missing would have been an experienced adventurer's compass and trusty jungle knife laid across the map of the flight route
  24. No worries @wain71, at this point in time I don't feel like there is a wrong decision that you can make with this. It's your decision and having input and information can help with that which I hope that Nick and my input maybe helped you with that. But, at the end of the day, the way supply and demand is, resources and etc right now, there is just no way to know for sure which way is best. So, like I say, I don't think there is a wrong decision here. Cheers! Landon
