VH-KDK
Thought I would have a change from flying around Tasmania and head for the mountains of Interlaken in the Swiss Alps. Just kidding, this Interlaken IS in Tasmania just over 30km from Waddamana. It is the next part of my tour of Tas landing at OZx airfields. 1. After a rest at the grand metrolopis of Wannamana it is time to take off into some threatening weather. 2. Another rainy flight. 3. 4. 5. The water on the right is Woods Lake near Steppes. 6. I knew it. Before we know it we are at Interlaken strip. 7. Lake Sorrell is directly north of the strip. 8. No trees directly on the runway threshold, just a big stone house! 9. Obviously the occupants feel safe that the house is so solid that any aircraft will just bounce off it and maybe scratch the stonework. 10. Touch down. 11. Plenty of great detail as well as plenty of rain. 12. Parked next to the pond, very picturesque.

RJ
Pity it's raining. You could take a dip in that pond. BTW, the house must be made out of rubber.

Stillwater
When I read the post title, I already knew that you would not be in Switzerland. This is really a magnificent OZx creation, a pleasure to use. PS: I had rain in virtual Tas on a flight back, I think, Saturday. I´ll check soon... Wanted a swim but as it was raining I didn't want to get wet! With your info I think the building is a kids jumping castle . Nice. Glad to see you enjoying Tas, it's an island of variety.. Teecee. Plenty of variety in a small area, compared to the rest of Oz anyway. More grand shots from Tassie !! . Cheers Brad Very nice set Martyn. cheers Iain When I read the post title, I already knew that you would not be in Switzerland. This is really a magnificent OZx creation, a pleasure to use. PS: I had rain in virtual Tas on a flight back, I think, Saturday. I´ll check soon... I haven't flown in Europe for quite a while. Hooked on Oz at the moment. Fair chance it would have been raining. I have been using RL weather and it is wet most of the time! The land that time forgot, valley field and friendly beaches also worth a visit, great exploration country, and great shots A truly great place to visit in FS and RL. Have many happy memories of my trips there a long time ago. Great shots. Many thanks for your interest and comments.
