I found these right before the town of Strahan on Macquarie Harbor , in looking at google maps they appear to be more of silt from a large river flowing into the harbor . Brad Ah, I know, it is not lake Pedder. This is the sand eroded from mining in Queenstown, up the King river. A place deserted by mankind... Check in wikipedia, I find this interesting to read.
