Stillwater
From LIEOs beautiful GA terminal ... ... a quick takeoff ... ... and a turn back over Olbia city, ... ... with last views of this beautiful harbour, whilst climbing eastwards over the Mediterranean. Just a short hop later we make landfall near Lido de Ostia, with Fiumicino airport in the background. The eternal city. And we use Ciampino airport, with a slightly better railway connection to Roma Stazione Termini.

A great city to visit, with far more attractions than, say, NYC or LA. 21 hours ago, Iain Emms said: Very nice indeed. cheers Iain Thank you Iain. 20 hours ago, BradB said: +1 - Me too , Rome Georgia USA ....... Ah, a real world traveller you are, John! I have been to that state, but not that city... 18 hours ago, bernd1151 said: Great shots, Gerold. Yet. 17 hours ago, olderndirt said: If I ilved in Rome, I'd be LXXXIII today or do they still do that? . Take care you look at the correct calendar, be it Georgian or Julian. Maybe you become younger than expected... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Julian_calendar 14 hours ago, andiflyit said: Very nice shots Gerold and a Kingair again!
