Stillwater
Relative wilderness in this case. From Kruger Mpumalanga... ... along the R37 to Sabie, ... ... and over Long Tom Pass. Followed the road over Mashishing and eMakhazeni to the outskirts of Johannesburg. O. R. Tambo airport ahead, ... ... and below. FAOR requires payware, as it is only very basic in default P3D... Less comments than usual on this "relocation" flight... 4 hours ago, TerribleT said: Lovely shots, great aircraft! Thank you TT. I also like the Beech King, a fast prop plane with some comfort for the pilot (autopilot & Avidyne). 3 hours ago, adambar said: Great set of shots Gerold. Sometimes it is nice to miss these details ON a runway. 11 hours ago, VH-KDK said: A great set Gerold and I like the colours on your Beech. Thank you Martyn. I did not have a (South) African livery, so I chose a more neutral one. In fact @jankees has depicted a real one from the US: "the colors of TC-12B #161197, in a 1942-style colour scheme applied in late 2010 to commemorate 100 years of naval aviation. It is flown by Training Squadron VT-35 Stingrays of Training Air Wing 4 at Naval Air Station Corpus Christi." Usually I use this livery only when I re-visit Corpus virtually:
