I found that there was a fairly tight morning / evening time slot for it to appear & it helped to have a bit of light rain about. & you need to be oriented the right way re the sun's position. It is not only hard to do , but as you say the "gods must align". I agree. SoFly is a fabulous piece of software. With my luck the POG will be a clapped out 0.5 GB 9800GT It was my first ever gpu actually and was behind a day in infamy many years ago now when I posted my first screenshot at Orbx. It was Bowerman I think and it was pretty terrible. Iain and the members here were really welcoming and constructive and encouraged me to try some more. Thanks Ken You are so right in terms of what what Asobo has brought to our world. I've spent hrs just sitting at an airport , engine off , just playing with settings and marveling at what happens.
