YoYo
Ok, so again for #StayAtHome situation. New Pack for You - screenies, story and... skin, so 3xS. Let's start: This is next idea for Orbx Africa Landclass. Its a recreation of 2016 Vintage Air Rally "Crete2Cape" - what it was in 2016. Quote Following in the footsteps of the pioneering flights in the 1920s – we connected some of the most beautiful and evocative points in Africa. We flew low along the Nile from Cairo to Khartoum, past the highlands of Ethiopia before the plains of Kenya and the home of African aviation in Nairobi. Then we went off again past Kilimanjaro into the Serengeti – and on to the spice island of Zanzibar. After a short pause we enjoyed the Indian ocean, we continued, crossed Zambia to Victoria Falls, before we continuied to Bulawayo in Zimbabwe. Our final days took us across Botswana and into stunning South Africa – to the Cape, journey’s end. Here it's the map for this trip: So I did the new repaint for A2A Piper Cub (P3Dv4.4+ version) of G-KURK - Piper's Maurice Kirk who took up the challenge in 2016 - Vintage Air Rally over Africa (didn't finish it), maybe help him to finish this race virtally ! This is repaint of his L-4 "Grasshopper" version of Piper "Cub". Real repaint was inspiration for this skin outside and inside so its a big project for this small plane (new textures, bump mapping, PBR effects). The preview: The plane "Liberty Girl II" is used by Maurice Kirk. He traveled on this G-KURK on many places on the World. If You need more info about this eccentric pilot, his Cub and this skin check this topic on A2A Forum: https://a2asimulations.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=62&t=70067 Few days ago I started this Air African Rally. Now after me its 10,5h of real time of flying, real wether, few landings, compass only and few saved flight on airports. Now Im near to end of border of Egipt. The journey continues ... Below are some photos from a trip over Africa (with new LC for sure) and Mr.Kirk G-KURK plane: Skin was uploaded Today on SOH Forum, soon on Avsim and Flightsim. Stay safe! bvdboomen
Great adventure! I love the PBR Cub but I have the non-Accusim FSX version working in P3Dv4. Nevertheless, very tempting...
