The edge all along to follow from Atar upto the crater is great to follow with a lot of various sand details : I will add screenshots later about this part of the trip

This is an interesting video about the Eye the great and beautiful Eye on Youtube

PS : the crater is not from a fallen huge meteroite but quite unknown - seems to be karstic phenomens

All fantastic shots Jean Marc, you have chosen a good time, plane and route!

But how did you get away from the frozen north of Canada?

Thank you Gerold... Frozen world is frozen :P But it will be defrozen quite soon 8) ... at least Terre Neuve which is almost finished ... But plenty of works (despite the Covid !!) and difficult to find hobby time to finish it  But it will be really  beautiful with plenty of things to show as always

Difficult to spot the crater... maybe too much sand around? I will keep it on my list and look for it later, when I am around...!

New shots have been post :) the crater is more visible from high altitude B)

Some really brilliant shots there, Jean Marc. #11 is my favourite. Thanks!

Happy you liked Lars :) Thanks for your comment ! This flight was really pleasant to perform - at low altitude to have beautiful desert details - and the arrival at the crater great at dusk ... So great to have Open LC !

The RL place is really interesting to know too... I will prepare maybe a long Something different post someday about it, Sahara people ... (Reading a nice book about the area - Méharées by the grand Théodore Monod !) But I need first to try to finish the long one about Artic ... B)
