VH-KDK
After the glorious weather in the first 5 days of the cruise we got a taste of the real Alaska! 1. Setting out for Juneau from Gustavus PAGS, with a cloud base of under 1000 ft it was a precarious flight in such a mountainous region. 2. Exiting Glacier Bay with PAGS on the port side but hidden in the gloom.
BradB
I have seen that side of AK also , hot coffee was always close by .
VH-KDK
It is how I imagined the weather to be in Ak. The problem is that if I go back I will half expect the weather to be calm and sunny!

lifejogger
When the weather is that thick I rather be on a ship than in the air. Nice shot and photo.
Jack Sawyer
Cool shots, but when I fly in Orbx's low clouds Alaska nothing helps more than the GTN 750, it's the most amazing piece of aviation equipment ever constructed,
Stillwater
Fantastic comparison. Even if the real weather looks like the one we have had here all the day, I like that the sim brings you EXACTLY the same!
flyingleaf
Great shots. Next time y'all in Alaska fly with the Mule Team. If y'all scared Hilda will give yer a nice "cuddle". So there, there.

olderndirt
When I first started CFI'ng at Juneau, I'd tell the student 'look at all that water and it's all within gliding distance.
