Great shot. Proves the grounding of the 737 Max really had an economic impact.

Cheers Gerold. I saw a few mothballed on my travels. :(

I expect you have seen the same.

We were meant to fly to Vancouver on one but instead we travelled on an Omni Air 762!:D

Doing some train spotting, what else. :D  Maybe your looking in the wrong direction or something Martyn. :D

Nice shot! :)

Not looking but heading in the wrong direction Adam.

I don't think any trainspotters would last long here though as the locomotives all have the same number.:o:lol:

We missed the bus from Honolulu to Vancouver and the train was booked out Gerold so we had to go by air.:(

We flew on N207AX, similar to the plane in the photo so quite an experience as there are very few 762s flying passengers these days.

We were booked on an Air Canada Max 8 for this leg but because of the groundings they are using Omni Air to fill in.

We did even have the option to cancel at no charge but I didn't want to miss the chance of a last flight on one of these old planes.

Incidentally the QF738 we flew from Brisbane to Sydney was virtually the same age as N207AX.
