I'd say you're flying over a circular pond somewhere on Planet Earth.

Um, somewhere a meteor hit?

yes at this place, a primitive stony asteroid hit the Earth (asteroid formed when various types of dust and small grains - no metal - that were present in the early solar system accreted to form it over 4.55 billion years ago).

When it hut the ground, 1.4 million years ago, the place was totally different thant at the present time : it was the Pleistocene with fully different animals, climate and vegetals

And at present it is quite chilly :P

Fascinating to see how Orbx invites us to see and learn about this planet.

BINGO Gerold - Thanks for you link !

yes Orbx did a really great job with Global + vector + open LC : it is a real pleasure to fly and see such natural wonders so finely modelized :) I will put other views of this area on my next post about Artic B)
