Well here we are in Renton, Washington. I'm just going on a little trip out to Wenatchee in Eastern Washington
It won't be low but will be  slow and I hope you find it interesting.

Not a good start though. Pretty wet as you can see by the "Spit" and its spray over there

I'm just going through all the preflight stuff. My friend Dave in the ATC today. Great fellow and a bit "infamous"
around these parts.

His favorite saying is "If you can see the mountains it's just about to start raining ... if you can't it is"

He assures me that it will be a great day. No sooner than I got the message the deluge started.

So I'm through the CL. Lets get the engine started and maybe we can blow some of the precip off....

Everything looks good, so lets bring the rpm's up.

At least I can see out & thanks Dave . Yes I see the X5 in front of me !!

And we're cleared for takeoff ....

Wow that was a big sheet of water that just "floated" across the windshield .. really distorts the view for a second or two.

Make sure your belted in . It may be a bit rough for a while

So the next little while we just climbed through a lot of gray. Not much to see

And finally you get through it and its gorgeous.  Dave ... how could I ever doubt your forecasting abilities

Maybe it will clear up after all ....

Well not so much

Still its a pretty nice day for flying

And here we are. Aside from the bumpy start , it wasn't too bad a flight ...

We'll just do a bit of sightseeing before we head down

Now you could say that we spent a lot of time sightseeing, but the truth of the matter was ...

"Stop your flying and come help with supper"!. So I put it on "pause" and when I came back:D

So time to land.

That is pretty impressive rain effects on the windshield.   Great flight and shots!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks John . A screenshot simply is a poor representation . It's fascinating to watch in the sim. The raindrops move just like in real life

Thanks for commenting

Need water rudders to taxi in that much rain.

And glue to try to keep it on the runway!

Thanks OND

Really impressive Pete.  Hope you don't mind my asking, what are you using for weather and clouds?  Just looks great!

Thanks Jimmy. Its all just what's in the sim. I was just playing around with data refs and such.

Glad you enjoyed it
