olderndirt Posted August 29, 2019 Share Posted August 29, 2019 Aeronca Chief, that is. The latest XP freeware from 'APilot' whose PA18 and J3 are mighty fine. This was "Airnocker's" side by side version of the Champ. The fatter fuselage made it faster as were the PA12 & 14 faster than the Super Cub. Departed Israel's Ranch, heading up the Skagit river to Concrete. Garmin wasn't even a gleam but somehow we flew. Starting downhill for Concrete - carefully monitoring excessive airspeed .
