Thanks Actually, Central America has its own unique region in the sim (from Mexico south to Venezuela, and including the Caribbean islands). And yes, it is getting brand new textures See the original Buildings HD preview post; there are some shots of Havana, Cuba showing the new Central America textures. I guess this could be a limitation of the sim. You're correct Lars, occasionally the sim does assign flat roof textures to peaked roofs for some reason. You will see this in your current install without BuildingsHD, so it's not a bug of BHD, but perhaps we can correct it later down the road. 15 minutes ago, Captain Lars said: Do you mean for buildings or for LC textures, too? The scenery engine often reverses building textures which helps to hide texture repetition, but unfortunately it also causes any text on the buildings to read backwards. We debated whether or not to include signs on the buildings, but Japan just didn't look right without them. I actually spent several days in San Jose, Costa Rica taking hundreds of source photos for the region. it's interesting to read this, now that I'm doing Maiquetia SVMI airport, we have thousands of "houses" around the airport that will be represented with Autogen by default simulator, it will be interesting to see how it looks with these new buildings.
