Especially when I am flying.:ph34r::ph34r::o:lol:

The Mitchell is all ready to go for a flight along the Strait of Georgia.

Previously

1.ngJtzQn.jpg

All is well as the Twin Cyclones fire up. Even the weather is good here for a change.

2.AWRfQbH.jpg

The Mitchell must be a common sight here as not even a glance from the crowd!

3.WUMiUh7.jpg

Going Halibut or Salmon fishing would be the next best thing to a flight in the Mitchell, unless you realise that I am  the pilot.

4.gjHcw7i.jpg

A glance down the airfield before take off.

5.oErqaXE.jpg

Over Mt Baker road at Eastsound.

6.VzrCq4G.jpg

Heading North leaving East Sound and Rosario Hill behind.

7.RJ7vqdJ.jpg

The southern end of the Strait of Georgia  with Waldron Island below the Mitchell.

8.vSuoNu0.jpg

One of the many ships seen on the flight. I have never done a cruise and I don't think I ever will.

9.AvohwSI.jpg

In the distance is the Seymour Range.

10.m8xClaL.jpg

Looking down Galiano Island and on the right is Thetis/Kupar Island.

I hope you liked the views from my flight.

John stole my thunder.  I was gonna say you can get your Money For Nothing as long as you don't get Industrial Disease.

Excellent narrative and shots Martyn, I laughed out loud at number three.

Goodness me Jack, we are lucky we are "Brothers in Arms, So Far Away.":wacko::wacko:

I am pleased you enjoyed set and the narrative.:)

Cheers Terry, some great music from that era.

Having  moved to Melbourne it was so easy to go and see many of these wonderful bands in concert.

I can't fly with Rock roaring in my ears,  but I can and do fly with classical pieces, or my favorite guitar player, Micheal Marc soothing me in the background. Terry.

We are all different Terry, I enjoy all types of music from Mahler to Muse!:)
