Following on from my visit to Austral Downs in the Northern Territory a certain Mr C.J.Brabazon (no relation) caused history in 1921.

 

Previously.

He flew in from Elderslie Station.

This was the first commercial flight by Qantas to the Northern Territory.

He owned both properties.

They were about 330 miles apart which was quite a flight in those days.

I wonder what they would think of the planes that are flying today.
