Tony did a wonderful job creating this scenery This is a complete "plain vanilla" XPlane installation. In the last week I completely rebuilt my installation (updating to release 11.20 ) without any rendering/colour adjustment scripts as I came to a conclusion that I had many, many conflicts going on. XPlane runs like a dream now, super smooth, higher frame rates and no graphical anomalies. To echo JV's astute observation that there is no substitute for hardware , I would add the comment and neither is there any substitute for keeping the installation as clean and simple as possible.
