Nobby's Creek is another of OZx's beautiful little strips.

I shall take the Tiger Moth down to the coast to see if there is anything worth looking at.

Situated in the Tweed Shire of NSW, Nobby's Creek has a population of just over 250.

2.yn2.jpg

Some of the MacPherson Range can be seen as we pass over Nobby's Creek.

3.yn3.jpg

Back over the air strip and heading for the coast.

At Dungay

5.yn5.jpg

Now following the Tweed River.

6.yn6.jpg

At Tumbulgum and the Duroby Nature Reserve.

7.yn7.jpg

Approaching Tweed Heads with Gold Coast Airport in sight.

8.yn8.jpg

Coolangatta and YBCG.

9.yn9.jpg

Currumbin Creek and Currumbin

10.yn10.jpg

Broadbeach Waters.

11.yn11.jpg

Broadwater and Sea World.

12.yn12.jpg

Biggera Waters just past Southport.

13.yn13.jpg

Looking back down the Gold Coast.

14.yn14.jpg

At Paradise Point and heading for the airport which can just be seen upper right.

Made it, YSPT.

Many thanks to Allen for this truly wonderful enhancement to the Gold Coast.

Plenty to explore here at a later date.

Great tour and shots, Martyn. So good you finally found something that is worth looking at it, I was not sure about that.

And only 250 people live in that place, would be nice!

In India or China they would live in one house.

That was excellent Martyn!  And I had a real chuckle at all those place names, they're so Australian, I hope they never change.  And only 250 people live in that place, would be nice!

Thanks Jack. The place names are very different aren't they.

Thank you Gerold, I was just building up the surprise with the flight starting off in the mountains and then ending up in the Gold Coast.

Everything is worth looking at in the ORBX world.

Reminds me of Bradford in the late 60s with small houses being inhabited by 20 or more people who came from the Sub Continent.:o

I could never live in one of those tower blocks, I like to step out of my front door onto terra firma.
