Slalom

There is very little snow in May at Essen GEN so I had to use some ingenuity to complete my slalom.

1.sl1.jpg

Approaching the A52 and the Ruhrtalbruecke, looks like some snow under the bridge.

2.sl2.jpg

Through gate one but nothing there so I will look further along to see if there is any hidden behind the bridge pillars.

3.sl3.jpg

Nothing under here at gate 2

4.sl4.jpg

Maybe some on the river bank.

5.sl5.jpg

wer war dieser maskierte Mann

6.sl6.jpg

Over the Ruhr and under the bridge again, getting a bit dizzy.

7.sl7.jpg

Ist es Frank Wörndl?

8.sl8.jpg

That is gate six and I am getting more dizzy.

9.sl9.jpg

I can still go round a couple more.

10.sl10.jpg

That is it, went around 10 pillars and only brushed the first one!

Not too hard with the Paramotor but I don't think it would be as easy in the Spitfire.

Excellent bit of flying Martyn! :)

Yes, not sure that I would try it in a Spitfire (or even a helicopter given the way I fly ).

Maybe a Fieseler Storch or a Pitts Special?

Just had a look on the internet. The Mintarder bridge

Cheers Paul. I actually got quite dizzy doing this as I had to swing the Paramotor around quite drastically to get around each pillar.

Thanks for finding this picture of the bridge and giving it it's proper name. looks like the info on GE was not correct.:o

Quite an amazing feat Martyn!  I loved them all.  It must be fun flying this para-motor.  I wonder if I could get an inverted 747 under one. Nah, too narrow. :D

Cheers Jack, maybe if you had a canary yellow 747 you might be able to do it.

If I could find one I’d be right on it.  Wish I knew how to repaint.  All my planes would have one with a yellow paint job! :)

I wish I could paint too. I used to really enjoy painting in FS9. Now we have great scenery in P3D and FSX but I am unable to paint.

My planes would all be blue of yellow and blue!:D

Can you imagine how colourful the skies would be if we could paint!

And this would even add another exponent. Or doing this inverted...

Thanks Gerold, I don't know if the paramotor would go inverted but it does swing like a pendulum!:o
