LDDU Dubrovnik preview II - Night lighting and more airport shots

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

Sorry about this one taking a bit longer, we ran into quite a few problems in the final stretch, but they've all been rectified now :) This should be entering RTM testing from tomorrow!

We've also added a few neat animations into the scenery, including the Dubrovnik cable car after a certain person as FScon kept telling me that I had to include it ;)

Please enjoy these new previews, and look forward to more soon from Emmsie and other screenie artists once they get their hands on it!

Wrinkled clothing. WOW!

I am glad I was not the only one that noticed that.  She seems to have lost some weight!

Also I saw a little helipad there for some rotor exploration.  That should be fun.  I wonder what that is, maybe a hospital or something.

Glad to see some south Europe scene!!

Perfect !! maybe the walls of the city could be less grey and more blond ?

I agree, the scenery is welcome and looks great in every aspect but looking at pictures the walls look greyer than they are.

Just beautiful, and so evocative of the real thing!  (though I do agree about warming the hue of the city walls...)

Looking forward to flying low and slow around the area.  Might even drop in on "my" hotel :)

Spectacular work Misha and Rasha! Misha I think this is going to be my favourite projects of yours yet...many things I love about it. And nice work on those hotels, animated cable car, better-detailed modelling of the whole scenery area etc. :) I can't wait! It's a real collector's item this one! Thank you for doing such a unique and captivating scenery such as this...if there's any more to come of this sort of scenery in the future, I'm in on those too. Well done lads!

...and it's great you've noted the city wall colours need colour changing to a more realistic sandstone colour of Dubrovnik...Much appreciated on that...it was the only thing keeping this scenery from looking just perfect. Great to know now it will :) Thanks again!
