Brought the Franz Luftfahrt Paramotor at the week end and just love it.

Have done several flights around ORBX airports and it is a fantastic way to explore.

A flight in the freezing weather today, the instruments read just 34F and I can remember from England that that means brrrrrrrrrrr.

1.gcp1.jpg

Setting off in pleasant conditions flying through the forest dodging the birds and squirrels.

2.gcp2.jpg

So here we are over the Grand Canyon.

3.gcp3.jpg

Clouding up a bit and a few snow flurries.

4.gcp4.jpg

Over 4000ft above the Colorado River.

5.gcp5.jpg

What a great way to view the scenery, just a bit draughty though.

6.gcp6.jpg

Maybe drop down and look at the river.

7.gcp7.jpg

Pigeons eye view.

8.gcp8.jpg

One last look at the great scenery before dropping into a canyon within a canyon.

9.gcp9.jpg

At river level and the visibility has suddenly closed in.

10.gcp10.jpg

Climbed up in nearly zero visibility and finally broke through into clearish sky.

11.gcp11.jpg

With more bad weather closing in it is time to head for shore.

12.gcp12.jpg

ASN dining a magnificent job of rapidly changing weather.

14.gcp13.jpg

Lost sight of the airport so best to put down. Better make a call to be picked up and taken back to the airport by road. Can't do that in a Cessna!

Highly enjoyable flying the Paramotor, well worth the 15 or so AUD.

Terrific shots!  How does this Paramotor handle in the wind?

Just don't eat beans before flying Jimmy:lol::lol::lol:.

Sorry Jimmy can't help myself.

In the manual it says only to fly with the wind below 10 mph. On my flight here it was just 4-6 kts and I have made sure to adjust the wind on the other flights I have made.

Glad you liked the set.

For all people who are thinking about buying the paraglider but still have doubts: BUY IT! :-)   (I don´t get money for saying this)

I saw this topic and bought it, it´s not expensive.

Especially in combination with FS Discover you can fly really nice sightseeing tours and you can land nearly everywhere.

My Ifly 737 and Duke Turbine stay in the hangar for a while now ;-)

Brilliant fliying experience! Beware of condors and eagles ;)

Cheers Bermuda, I think it was too cold for them that day!

Somehow this is the way to fly. It's just you and world. Imagine this is real life. :)

A great way to fly. There are a couple of them we see here every now and then but there is no way I would ever go up in one!

Fantastic tour and documentation - and comments here...

Should I call you "Franz" from now on?

Thanks Gerold, as they say, you can call me anything you like but don't call me late for dinner.

I will second your comment there. I was a little sceptical at first but it is just a fantastic way to look at the scenery anywhere. Also mega airports are just as interesting for me as well as rural locations. I have and will be making many more flights in the Paramotor.

Does this work with FSX-SE?

According to their site it just works on Microsoft FSX and P3D.

These are all epic, however, #8 is beyond words!

Thank you Sammy. Glad you like it.

Thank you all for your great response. If the OZx Grand Canyon scenery isn't an exciting enough place to visit flying the Paramotor there adds the cherry on top!

If you like slow and low then this is the best way. I have it working faultlessly in Microsoft FSX, P3Dv2.4 and V3.0.
