Stillwater

Getting ready in the early morning at American Samoa. I doubt there is a RL scheduled connection on this route, but ANZ offered a bit of comfort today for the interested simmer.

Ready to taxi, engines running. Maybe I accidently turn the PeopleFlow into PeopleMelt?

OK, all went well. No claims. Turning north out of the easterly take-off.

Westbound to the sea. To plenty of sea.

Many hours later, already descending over Papua New Guinea.

Excellent shots. Hey Gerold, that PMDG 777 is great, don't you think?

Yes this plane is an absolute pleasure...

Excelent shots Gerold!

Super sceneries, a very nice narrative and also some great VC-shots from tis fantastic PMDG 777 beauty!

Thank You very much for sharring!

... with eye-candy inside & outside. And after having digested the tutorial flight it is not too complicated.

Wow - you had me with the first shot Gerold , a real stunner .:smile:

Cheers

Brad

Thanks, Brad - and this was just at the beginning of the quick sunrise...

Wonderful set Gerold.

Excellent scenery and plane.

With those 2 big ovens hanging off the wings you can cook the people at the airport and then take them to Swain's Island where the natives would welcome you as a hero!

8) ... maybe my chance to go there ...

Amazing shots of your very very long flight!

With the time compression the ocean route was a bit shorter... I only had to be aware of the step climbs.

great shots and a very long flight, what was the in flight movie?

... I think I was watching the field hockey Euro championships during that time ...

You indeed chose a terrific route! Quite long but lots of time to make some shots which are all really smashing.

Greetings,

... and time flies better if you try to constantly be aware of the ETOPS situation and the next alternatives.

Well Gerold, we now just have found another very good reason to dig through the manuals and tutorials - catching super screenshots with properly looking PFD's, ND's and all that ... ;)

[...] I was trying to mimic Timmos spotter views (miss them...).

+1: Miss them too.

  • 3 weeks later...

Wonderful set!

Beautiful shots, full of color and vibrancy

Thank you, Sammy & Tim. Nice places, though a bit far from each other for an after-work flight...

.... and there is really some time of digging through these manuals before you master these birds. At least, documentation is comprehensive!

PS: We need to find a deputy solution for Timmos spotter shots. Or he finds more time for us...
