  1. Wow, John. I can see why you are a happy guy there. Thanks for sharing the picture.
  2. Hi all. My wife and I were married at the start of our first year of seminary. Our first home was a one-room student apartment on campus. We had a card table and folding chairs, a mattress on the floor, two TV tables, and a thirteen-inch TV. Oddly enough, it is still one of my favorite memories of places we've lived. And that leads to this week's topic. THIS WEEK'S MEANINGLESS TOPIC: What house or apartment tops your list of favorite places you've lived in?
  3. Nicely flown, Frank. You really brought it alive (pant, pant, pant!). Glad the real story ended well.
  4. Wow, Wayne, that's a load to carry. We'll pray for best case and clear skies.

Pilatus Porter P6 4. Flying heavy cargo from Los Angeles to Tokyo. Boing 747 5. Flying a medical team on a village hop in Kenya. Kodiak 6. Flying tourists on sight-seeing tours in the islands of French Polynesia. Twin Otter Amphibian 7. Flying local kids on a look-about over your home town. Cessna 175
  6. Hi all. Most of us have built libraries of our favorite planes by now. Even MSFS folks are starting to have decent options. It's fun to think of a task and pick a plane to fly it. I like back-country cargo deliveries in Alaska with a a dirty, beat-up Cessna 185 I got as freeware many years ago. Out of curiosity, let's see what planes others enjoy using for various tasks. THIS WEEK'S MEANINGLESS TOPIC: What planes would you fly for the following tasks? 1. Flying hunters to a camp in Alaska. 2. Flying 200 passengers from New York to London. 3. Flying supplies to hill villages in Papua New Guinea. 4. Flying heavy cargo from Los Angeles to Tokyo. 5. Flying a medical team on a village hop in Kenya. 6. Flying tourists on sight-seeing tours in the islands of French Polynesia. 7. Flying local kids on a look-about over your home town.
  7. Okay, Adam, after that set of adrenalin pumpers, how about a six-pack of boring scenes so we can recuperate?
  8. Everyone wants to live to be older and then complains about being older. Go figure.
  9. Wayne, Happy birthday. Hope you get the best present of all--good news from the doctors.
  10. Talk about a holding pattern. We'll sit and wait with you, Wayne, hoping for good news.
  11. A terrible war ends in a terrible way. The head celebrates the cessation of the war while the heart mourns the necessities.
  12. What a great post, Graeme, and what a great kid. Thanks!
  13. Adam, what a contrast you highlight in those videos showing then and now. It would be interesting to hear what the musicians think about seeing themselves in their younger incarnations.
  14. We'll be wishing you well with the tests and stuff, Wayne. Keep us informed!
  15. According to Google: "He always liked it the most." Now Karl can tell us what the heck that means.
  16. Good one, Karl! I'm off to McDonalds with mischief in mind!
