  1. Superb composition & use of light to introduce rich coloration. The terracotta colored roofing looks particularly vibrant. Shadows suggest a midday shot. I see you also captured the green Waste Management bins. (Far left) Continue, you are on the right track. BTW, this is a KH/TH co-production. Did you by chance see a roaming misplaced pony on the island? TTM
  2. Obviously a labor of love by the Orbx team due to its significance in the Company's history. Nicely executed. I discern a couple of trends - a sharper focus on store front signage, ( a la Bromma), & continued development of interiors. Shot 3 is intriguing. I wonder if the rest rooms are modelled? TTM
  3. Dave Garwood has adapted his FSX, [possibly FS9?], de Havilland DH89 Dragon Rapide to MSFS. & a very nice conversion it is too. I took Sybille for a spin at EGTB, & everything I tried she willingly acceded to. A few shots below. TTM (MSFS)
  4. Eclectic & excellent set of shots showing the detail & diversity packed into Bromma. Very crisp shots. Are your MSFS Graphics set to High or Ultra? TTM
  5. So, the LIB is actually the LIR, with a frock change, & the LIR is an interloper? Hmmm TTM
  6. Thank you. I'll watch for it. By chance is the LIR's tattoo inspired by 'The Girl with The Dragon Tattoo'? TTM
  7. Starting to explore the airfield with the drone camera. TTM (MSFS) Closer look at the light rail/bus? Note the tattoo on the LIR's left shoulder. Closer examination reduced shot focus, but I think it is a snake. She must have had that done recently. It wasn't there the last time we went out. Lady in Blue tattooed? Hard to tell, but she does prefer mini skirts, it would appear. I was watching the double link train for awhile in case it moved, when the lower, single unit, came in from the left. Marcus, what timetable do they run to?? I would say this is the jet operations center.
  8. Stunners! Shot 3. The attachments to the wing undersides. Downside wing, looks like a dust pan, is a radiator? Upside wing 'tube' is what? TTM
  9. I suspect they were there all along. I may have misread AUD for USD, & I can't find my glasses! TTM
  10. I received an email overnight from another Scenery Outlet that DD currently has 30% off everything. I checked in the Orbx Partner section, but they appear to still be at full retail. I prefer to purchase via Orbx, anyone know if the discount is coming here? TTM
  11. Gentleman Thank you all. For the record, TTM stands for 'Tiger Tiger Moth' When I set up my Orbx a/c, my chosen Tiger Moth was already taken , so I threw in an extra Tiger, for differentiation. Never have been Terry. TTM
  12. I have been practicing ILS landings recently & thought I would have a shot on 109.70, into Bromma Rwy 30, out of Arlanda. As you can see, I made it. (Or would have if I hadn't inadvertently shut off the throttle over the threshold) The Bromma Rwy 30 approach is a stunner but I would not wish to work in any of the buildings across the road from the runway theshhold, in particular, Flinks. Going by the number of review videos already up on YouTube, I would say a pre-release version went out to quite a few flyers. I recommend this one, by MiuMiu, as it shows the incredible amount of time & effort that Marcus & his team put into storefront signage, & other detail. Overall, if you can only afford 1 Swedish payware airport, I strongly recommend you choose Bromma. It is a gem. TTM (MSFS) Drone camera view looking back from approach into Rwy 30. Bromma is a sliver in the middle of the shot. Another Drone capture showing Stockholm & water co-existing. Lined up, still on APPR on the AP. The cranes to the right are good markers. Still on AP, still airborne & frightening the -- out of Flinks. Above shot from a side perspective. As you can see, plenty of ground clearance. The artistic perspective. About here I killed AP, & the throttle, (accidentally) Cleverly edited shot that hides the fact that the speed had dropped to 40 kia & I was about to drop into the landing light forest. But note the undulations in the runway!
  13. Just a quick initial shot from Bromma. SoFly UK Spring Day, hence the overcast sky etc. I like the detail. It looks like the chartered BN-2 is parked on a reinforced concrete pad? Anyway, I anticipate finding all sorts of good stuff later today & over the weekend. Very nicely done Marcus, RWAD. (Renowned & Widely Acclaimed Developer) TTM
  14. Stunners! Luminar brings atmosphere + to the skyscape. Can't place the airfield. Melanesia? TTM
  15. Nice crisp shot. I note your designation, 'Orbx Team'. What does that mean? & if by chance you have a direct line to Ken could you kindly remind him I am still waiting for a pony t appear at Bryce Canyon! TTM
  16. Nice video. Gritty. It may be in the release notes, but with the extensive modelling of the 'off airport' POI, such as Churches, it would be helpful for overseas visitors to have access to a map showing the locations. TTM
  17. The magic words that should be followed by the Halleluiah Chorus, the 1812 Overture & the Swedish National Anthem! Nice set, Iain, TTM
  18. Apologies for coming back to this Nick, but your comment: "I understand that it affects all addon airports, where there is also an "enhanced" Asobo version." Is there a quicker way to identify where MSFS has an enhanced Asobo version & I also have an Orbx version loaded, other than searching Content Manager for each Orbx airport to see if the search also picks up an Asobo version, & deleting the latter? TTM
  19. I have done the same. Although it is a tempest in a tea cup, the reason I sought clarification re whether it was LOWI only, or not, was I began to wonder if other Orbx MSFS products I had loaded into a Scenario, were in fact the Asobo version. TTM
  20. John "Pretty well a one off" Thanks for clarification. Its only a LOWI issue, yes/no? TTM
  21. Included in the update notification is the statement: "Note that the default Asobo LOWI is still required to be removed from your content manager." I'm a bit confused by this - it suggests I need to manually remove Asobo LOWI in the Content Manager, (CM), whereas I have always assumed that Orbx Central does that. (Or somehow manages priorities so that the Orbx LOWI shows up) & if manual CM intervention is required for LOWI then does that mean that it is also required for each Orbx MSFS product I have installed, or their updates? TTM
  22. Mr Filbert has also posted a shortish pre-release video for Bromma I give the link below with some reluctance. https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/606992-preview-Orbx-stockholm-bromma/ Although overall his opinion is very favorable, he does have some reservations about satellite ground textures & the night lighting. I have my fingers crossed that that does not spur Marcus to delay matters while he tweaks them I would exhort him to release this week because the reality is that a masterpiece is never finished. & no doubt some punter will complain that they found chewing gum under their seat on the airport Light Rail train & could it be removed please. Night lighting, ground textures & chewing gum can be dealt with in an update. TTM
  23. I missed that announcement. A source with a sound mind & reputation, or addled? TTM
