  1. Came across this freeware Fouga CM 170 & flew it at LFBD, which comes from one of Orbx's Partners, France VFR The Fouga is quick & quite sensitive on the controls, and the modelling is excellent. TTM (MSFS)
  2. They are still active, with weekly Multiplayer flights in North America, South America & Africa. + Alaska in floatplanes for light relief. TTM
  3. Jahn/Visser C-47 in an RAF Parachute Training School livery, leaving Southampton at dusk. I have been doing a lot of P3D flying lately in C-47's & DC-3's as part of the 'DC-3 Airways' programs, which I stumbled across. If you are interested in DC-3's/C-47's, well worth a look. https://dc3airways.net/ In the meantime I burn incense every day in the hope that it will bring forth a stellar DC-3 for MSFS. If nothing turns up in the 1st Quarter 2022, I may have to consider sacrificing chickens. TTM (P3D v5.2 HF1)
  4. I think I have my Arrows & Warriors mixed up. I need to ponder that TTM
  5. Was that Turbo Warrior in MSFS or P3D? Why I ask is I looked at this awhile ago & there appeared to be a discount in MSFS for the Turbo if you had it in P3D, or had the Warrior II in P3D, but I couldn't find a discount going from MSFS Turbo to MSFS II. I'll have another look. TTM
  6. Very nice set, & presentation of the Warrior II. I have the Turbo Warriors, but the II has something that catches my eye. Hopefully JF has a Xmas sale, & Orbx! TTM
  7. Fascinating Great set, great story, & BTW, Jankees & a few others have put out some more stunning liveries for this aircraft. Cheers TTM
  8. Nice set. Nice touches - I note the burr walnut cockpit trim - patented Bernd I hope! Certainly not a sheep herders mode of transportation in that region!! TTM
  9. Situated at the top of the South Island, NZNS has an interesting location by the sea. These are a few shots from an initial look around. Even after a short flight I can tell that NZA has put a lot of work into fine touches, such as weathering on buildings, & the presence of general clutter found at an airport. It's currently 30% off, ending December 1st, 2021, & if you are prevaricating I would suggest that if you fly in NZ you should consider snapping this one up. NZA also has some superb freeware NZ airfields that I recommend you check out on their website. TTM (MSFS) Reno T6 having a look around at dusk. Looking back at dusk, I am guessing, towards the South East. T6 low pass. clear skies. I am running the '4 Seasons' package & thought I had Northern Hemisphere on Fall & Southern Hemisphere on Spring. Yet much of the vegetation seemed to have an Autumn tint. I'll need to check that out. Detailed external power unit. I should know the aircraft, but it eludes me. Air NZ ATR. Not available in MSFS yet, I think. This is what I mean by attention to detail. If you look hard at the back wall, which I believe is corrugated iron, you can see dark patches of weathering or faded paint within the vertical corrugations. Nice touch. Drone view off to the West, & out there is Motueka. NZA have crafted Motueka as a freeware airfield & again, you really should pick it up. Another Drone shot. What is the red thing on the roof to the right? The round 'domes' are mirrors of some sort. Looking North East using SoFly UK Spring Day.
  10. Stunning set! Shot #2 & others - how do you get the sharp foreground & off focus background? TTM
  11. Bernd Highly recommend you get on their website & check out the freeware offerings. Of equal quality to Nelson, & they give some interesting semi-rural destinations around NZ. TTM
  12. Marvelous story & images! How did you get the Cutty Sark sails down?? TTM
  13. Nice set. Looks to be as 'Central' in China as you could get! TTM
  14. Thanks for update. I will try Motueka again & have another look at Nelson. I was going to get Nelson in 9/21 but I assumed the FPS hit in Motueka would also be present in Nelson & therefore passed it up. Both are excellent renditions of the airports. TTM
  15. Great set. From whence cometh the A330 & livery? TTM
  16. I wanted to practice getting the 787 into Narita at night & took the Lufthansa livery for a short run in. I found, as is often the case when I am flying the heavy iron, (vintage & modern), that I underestimate the spool up time for the engines if I have slowed down too much & the runway boundary is fast approaching. So its full forward on the throttles & I just got enough thrust to keep out of the weeds, but the engines had given a massive 'kick in the backside', & a climb was underway. So now I had the floaty landing scenario as I tried to bleed off speed 1/2 way down the runway! Very inelegant. TTM (MSFS) Lined up pretty straight but trying to bleed off speed. The 787 is very slippery. Floating down the runway after avoiding landing short. I did get down ok & taxied to a spare stand. I was stunned to notice once I had stopped that the air bridge, of its own accord, moved itself into position & made a connection just as the A380 front door began to open. Brilliant!
  17. I had hoped to use an A380 for a flight from Narita to Hong Kong, but a hybrid MSFS version has been pulled. The 787 is a worthy long haul replacement. This is a morning departure from Narita TTM (MSFS)
  18. He who retires is suddenly busier!! Cheers TTM
  19. Thank you! I must be getting beyond Geriatric! I never made the connection Wunderland! TTM
  20. Bernd! Delighted to see that C-19 hasn't flattened you!! TTM
  21. I've had Narita at the back of my mind for awhile now as it is a handy jumping off place for excursions into Asia. But the discretionary budget has been tight. However, the Black Friday Sale with RJAA 50% off tipped my hand, & there are plenty of other bargains in the Sale. This is a PMDG DC-6A on its way in from RJTT. Not a long flight, but it let me get a look at Narita on the approach. It is a vast airport & looks to have been well crafted. TTM (MSFS)
  22. LM TF-104G reminds me of a ball point pen with a tail attached. Nice compositions, Iain. TTM
