  1. http://www.flight1.com/products.asp?product=dc2fsxflight1 Worth every penny. From the UIVER team. Stacks up against M. Jahn DC-3, & J Visser involved. Comes with 3 liveries, but Aircraft.cfg is set up with 40 liveries, which you can find as Freeware in flyawaysimulations site. Just copy the Texture file into the DC_2X main file. Flies beautifully, elegant, but watch the engine temp, no Cowl cooling, so you can cook the engines if not careful. TTM
  2. Predecessor of the DC-3. Nice flyer. Shot 3 shows the staggered undercarriage retraction. TTM (P3D v5.3 HF1)
  3. Ah! I keep forgetting the Partner Product's shot opportunities - it looked better than stock issue. TTM
  4. Nice set of captures. The airport in shot 2, is that stock MSFS? TTM
  5. Aerosoft have an 'equivalent' of Orbx Central, called Aerosoft One. "(Aerosoft One is a client that can be used for installing and updating products, as well as displaying news and product information.)" I understand that to get the Twin Otter via Aerosoft you need to go through Aerosoft One, & to get into Aerosoft One you need to be registered with Aerosoft, which essentially means opening an A/C with them. Go via Orbx, its simpler. TTM
  6. If & when it is released on Orbx be aware the Sounds have been criticized & AS is looking into it. Apparently they spotted it just before release & ran some tweaks, but it was too late to get them in the release as it had gone out. Look for them in an update. TTM
  7. Well its about 2.44am in Essendon. Say they arrive at work 9am, then read the Racing News , have a coffee, watch a few departures & arrivals. About midday Essendon time they could push the button, so might see it later today EST. Hope so. Curious as to how Orbx Central deals with the Aerosoft A/C requirement. TTM
  8. Will the MSFS Aerosoft Twin Otter be available via Orbx today? I see its out on several sites but appears to require an Aerosoft User Account. Does this mean it can't run through Orbx Central, which is always my preferred route? TTM
  9. Superb boot lacing in the 1st shot. TTM
  10. Very nice. Is this your creation, & available somewhere? TTM
  11. Nice composition Iain. Which weather were you using to get the fingers of valley mist effect? TTM
  12. Using the Orbx Partner, Aerosoft's Trondheim, & the Asobo A320 Neo, I have been honing my ILS skills. There is a lot of satisfaction in getting it right & riding the ILS flight path all the way down. Hands off. TTM
  13. A few shots of the Orbx partner, //42's, Fox2 at EG78, Outer Skerries. This small airfield & environs are really well done & depending on the time of day, the light reveals & emphasizes different facets of the locale. I believe EG78 had special treatment from Asobo, possibly Orbx had an input? The short air strip was easily mastered by the Fox2 & I was able to land elsewhere in paddocks on the island, avoiding the stone walls. TTM
  14. Hasn't shown up via Orbx Central/ Verify Files yet. [12/25/21, 3.31pm EST] Any idea when it will be released via Orbx? TTM
  15. As always, an exemplary set. It pains me to ask as I should be able to deduce this - which Sim are you using? & a Happy Xmas & Healthy New Year! TTM
  16. It is out, & the Orbx description of 34.41MB when installed needs a tweak, - the Installer is 34.41MB, the installed aircraft is ??MB. Unfortunate to have been released after the Kodiak, as regards available $ budget for add-ons TTM
  17. Thank you Gentlemen. I recommend you set your joy stick controls to a linear set up per the Kodiak manual, (0%) variation from linear. I had a 14% dead zone from I know not where, but it gave insufficient control authority & I managed some spectacular left snap prangs on take off. Also, hold in plenty of right rudder, & if possible try & avoid full throttle take offs as she has a massive left hook that will catch you out if you aren't watching for it. Apart from that, a joy to fly TTM
  18. Bit of an expensive day yesterday, ENML, Molde, & the SimWorks Kodiak, both through Orbx. A few initial shots at Molde, in various weather configurations. Both the airport & Kodiak are nicely executed. TTM (MSFS)
  19. From what I have read it is foliage focused only, at this stage. In particular, on trees. They are looking at ground cover in the future. TTM
  20. Great set of shots. I read somewhere that the FM has an air brake system. Did you find it/use it?? TTM
  21. Comes with a selection of liveries. Enjoy! http://restauravia.fr/ TTM
