Hi all, couldn't fly last weeks because it was too hot in my place and I have no air conditioner. Up to 34 ° C and the pc of course generates more heat when flying. These shots here are from my home country south of Munich. Orbx scenery is the entire ortho imagery in all shots. It's the tile +47+011 from the LOWI scenery which leeds towards Munich in the north. The southern tip of the Starnberger See at Seeshaupt. The small lakes here are the "Osterseen" and it's a well known destation for a little trip from Munich at the weekend. Here you can see the highway A95 which leeds from Munich to Garmisch-Partenkirchen and the Staffelsee in the background. There are more "Seen" (lakes), so this here is the Kochelsee and the Walchensee in the background. There is a hydroelectric power station to the left and the curvy road strait on is hard to go up by bicycle, rather long rise and a lot of car and bike traffic sometimes. Walchensee again which is also a well know recreation area for people from all around and of course Munich. Here you can see the most frequented ski area at Garmisch-Partenkirchen. In the backgorund the mountains are Alpspitze and Zugspitze. I had thought I took a picture of Garmisch-Partenkirchen as well but I lost it. Or I forgot to make the shot. Here in the background you can see the Eibsse which is really a wonderful small lake to go swimming or just walk around it. Thank you very much for viewing! Cheers Andreas

Nice shots Don, the trouble with helicopters in the sim is that you can never let it go, too tiring for me...🙂 Must be extremly challenging in real world to fly it. Absolute concentration required.

Hi all, the aircraft here is another nice freeware from X-plane.org. Looks good from outside, panel is acceptabel and works well, fun to fly. Scenery is Orbx TE SD for Florida, this is for XP11 but works in XP12. Thank you very much for viewing! Cheers Andreas

Great shots, this aircraft really impresses with it's most elegant lines. Looks a bit like a flying alien. Your clouds look good, so far I didn't do any work on all this stuff in XP12.

Thank you Wayne, it's a bit narrow there to fly in, yes. And the animated dust cloud needs a few frames. But it's a nice little scenery.

Great to have some nice shots from P3d, this doesn't happen very often today. I always want to imporve my 4.5 a bit, but the server of the PTA seems to be down, cannot register it anymore.

Thank you John, glad you like it. And thank you Wayne, and yes, the plane is of course well done regarding modelling but mainly the FD are extraordinary, it just doesn't do some nonsense that others can do.

So we can expect some interesting routes presenting the entire flight plan and all waypoints Gerold! 🙂 You will have scenery all around the world but of course the updated areas are best. And this creates a lot of gb, my sim is growing since 2 years.

Good example, I would very much like to have it. I have some freeware orthoscenery for Ireland but the imagery is not TE quality of course. There are some more interesting situations. I have the really wonderful TE Netherlands for P3d but they never did TE for Germany so flying over to Germany brings me to the landclass region sceneries which are not TE as well and so on....and if I fly south to Belgium in P3d I fly into FTX Global for Europe. And if I fly from Salzburg to Klagenfurt (Austria) in MSFS I will very much enjoy some imagery which is really not TE as well. This is because on Bing parts of Austria have bad imagery. The approach to create firstclass simulator scenery for the entire world is somehow difficult.

Nice dream. Tony Wroblewski once said, if I am right, that he can only create TE scenery for regions where he can get imagery for a reasonable price. And there is no way for scenery designers to create aerial imagery by themself because an entire satellite system is needed. So the imagery is the main problem. Very nice shots in your set!
