  1. Really looks very good, it's slowly going forward with XP12 but it's going on. Worth installing it to have a correct working scenery, I am not 100% sure with the XP11 sceneries.
  2. Thank's a lot Adam 🙂 glad you like the shots.
  3. Thank you very much gentlemen, glad you like it! 🙂 You're welcome Graeme! 🙂 The plane looks great, the collection of good liveries is fantastic and the VC is very good. I think the cabin is not really modelled but I don't need that anyway. And it works for me, all systems are from FlyByWire A320, so this is all correct and complete. Great plane...complete documentation is available in the installer via html. It's freeware from flightsim.to or their website. Important: Do not download it and copy it to the community folder, you will have no autostart and have to do a completly cold and dark start, there is nothing on in this situation. Instead download the little installer and from the desktop let it download the plane and install, it's a 1,5 gb download. You will have the housecolor and the airbus housecolor and a white one if I am right, the paints are all available from flightsim.to. It's great, you will have fun....it's really astonishing what kind of perfect freeware they sometimes create today. I have a chopper which is also incredible, you don't believe that.
  4. Hi all, have a new freeware masterpiece here, it's really amazing....🙂 All systems follow the FlyByWire system of their A320neo, so it all seems to work as usual. Did a little flight over to Seattle and it's all fine. I don't know the Fenix so far, this will be a future project for me just to compare, but I can imagine systems will be almost identical. Just Airbus. A lot of great liveries are available but sometimes installing it I get the message "filename to long" for the texture and than I have to rework the entire layout file to load it, strange. Seems to be an issue with msfs community folder. If you look at the old US Airways paint, this was my A330 in FSX more than 12 years ago based on a Posky with 2d panel. And now it's all updated, a great VC and all systems work accordingly to Airbus, it's great. The first 13 images show CYVR by Orbx partner FsimStudios, so I hope it's ok to show it here. Thank you very much for viewing! Cheers Andreas
  5. Thank you, they also host some planes, but you are right, just checked it, it's not there. Must have it from Cal Classic or so. Thank's a lot Iain!
  6. Good looking shots Mikee! 🙂
  7. Very nice, they should go on with all the updates of the stuff...🙂 Is the sim now 6.1.19? Didn't see that so far...
  8. Looking very good Iain, this Rex addon seems to be interesting.
  9. Thank's a lot John! And thank you Gumby, glad you like it! 🙂 Thank you Wayne, glad you like it. Thank you Graeme 🙂, hope they will go on with the libs and the global stuff to bring it to v6. Currently it's not recognized by Orbx Central.
  10. Hi all, here you can see a nice Huey of the Las Vegas Police Department at Dillingham...singing "it's a long way home, it's a long way home"...🙂 Thank you very much for viewing! Cheers Andreas
  11. Very nice shots and planes Iain! The vegetation also looks good, is there any "improve the trees" stuff in use?
  12. Thank you all very much gentlemen, glad you like it! 🙂 Thank you Graeme, the point is to look funny..they are really great. 🙂 Look at the 2 on the left side in the last penguin shot. They are just making a deal... Hope this was not caused by helicopter flying! But I have some issues with these as well, generally the simulation is more problematic as with the planes.
  13. Hi all, this is the Antarctica scenery at British Rothera and I was not the first to install it but now I have it! 🙂 There are some funny penguins, nice to see, and a beautiful landscape all around. Have the Dash 7 in the colors of "British Antarctic Survey" because the paint is part of the package. Also have my old Bell 47J heli which works better in the cold air than the 407. So I'm quite happy! The Dash 7 supplies everything from Punta Arenas/Chile and a few Twin Otters are transferred from Calgary down to Punta Arenas every year. Flying over to Rothera is a so called PNR flight (point of no return) where they only can go on when reached . In the worst case land somewhere on the ice. Thank you very much for viewing! Cheers Andreas
  14. Fantastic shots again Adam! 🙂
  15. Nice shots of the big thing Iain! Must be a good model what they all say.
  16. Don't know what you have in msfs, I have the Bell 407 which came with one of the updates. And it's ok, you can use it to learn it. It's also a nice modell of the 407 and it's the one in my shots from Singapur. Than you can activate 2 additional settings in the support functions which are to stabilize the helicopters. It's under Pilot Controls and it's called "Tail rotor support" and "Cyclic or Joystick support", have it all in German here. This makes it easy. Than in the keyboard shortcuts setup, I have assigned it to joystick buttons, go to Control surfaces/trimcontrol. There is a "rotor longitudinal trim" or so which is at the end a pitch trim. 2 keys needed for up and down. And lateral rotortrim, 2 keys again. This is something like aileron trim. So most important: when you take off adjust the pitch trim so that the joystick will be loose in the middle positon while holding the vs. Aileron trim only if needed. And last hint: reduce the sensitivity settings of your joystick as far as possible in the setup, just that you can still fly your planes. In the helicopters it's all about applying only minimal input to the control surfaces. They are very sensitiv. Thank's a lot Graeme, glad you like it! 🙂
  17. Thank you Wayne, you can certainly learn to fly the helicopter in the sim. It's not a miracle if somebody can do it. You can use the R22 or the Virtavia UH60 in P3d, they both work well. In msfs the Bell 407 is very good to fly. First of all check your joystick on the Win-level and than in the sim. Be shure that you can fully operate all controls. If your stick has a screw underneath to adjust the friction set it more to "loose" so that you can move it easily. Always very smooth and careful use of the controlfaces mainly the cyclic which are the 2 main axes of the joystick. Also operate the governor very carefully which is usually linked to your throttle-keys. In Xplane to the RPM-setting. If you increase the governor it will climb. If you decrease it it will sink and if you than adjust the vs to zero it will decrease the speed of course. And now practice, practice, practice....you must watch "what happens if I do something". There are some nice videos at YouTube. Search for "Cristoph1 ADAC cockpit", this will give you a lot of videos of the EC 145 in a rescueoperation. And the professional pilots flying it are among the best pilots in Germany. They fly like hell cruising but watch how carefully they do it for landing. Thank's a lot! And thank you John!
  18. Hi all, another simmer posted a great set at Avsim forum flying his C182 from Fall City to Anacortes because he just had installed these in msfs. And than I did the same flight in the Eurocopter and in P3d and followed exactly his route. Just for fun and to compare and the TE scenery can compete with msfs, no doubt. Flying this heli I have to pause the sim to go outside and make the shot, otherwise I would tear away the cyclic and loose control. I think W16 is not modelled for msfs yet, didn't see it. Thank you very much for viewing! Cheers Andreas
  19. Thank you very much Eberhard! And thank you Adam, glad you like it!
  20. Congratulations and thank you very much for posting this fantastic shot!
  21. Thank's a lot Wayne, the rooftop garden is indeed nice to see, must be a great place to stay for a while... Thank you very much John, glad you like it! 🙂 Will fly there again with the heli and hopefully a more neutral light.
