  1. I'm still here. Not sure about still going strong though. Everything seems to be getting exponentially heavier with each passing year. I have just about finished painting the house's exterior, in half-day time slots. Not much simming going on.
  2. My big wish is that the logbook records all landings and take-offs without a flight plan. Or you can plan multiple landings. So that we can plan a flight with intermediate stops at backcountry airstrips. And, also touch and goes. Also multi engine time etc.
  3. Boy! Five! You are a glutton for punishment. 😃
  4. That is so cool. You must be over the moon. 😃👍 Thanks for posting a photo.
  5. I enjoyed the presentation. However, I would like to hear that 2024 will have an accurate logbook. We have waited long enough for it to be fixed. 🤔
  6. I only hope that they have a logbook that is accurate in 2024. I can't believe they haven't fixed the current one. In FSX it worked great.
  7. Hi Don, thanks for the suggestions. I will check them out.
  8. I have never checked the flight times for accuracy Don. But I do know that it does not record all landings and takeoffs. P3D and FSX would record them all, so I think this is a backward step. Especially for simmers like me who set out to explore and test our skill by landing at any out of the way strips we come across. Sometimes it maybe four or five or even up to ten if they are close together. If it is a long strip, maybe just a touch and go. We can't even plan such a flight which will record our landings/takeoffs, they just show as waypoints. So Don, I can quite believe your log is not recording correctly. And will check my flight times in future. I think whoever designed the logbook feature only had tube liners or strict A to B simmers in mind, not bush explorers who test themselves by doing things that they would never have attempted in the real world..
  9. That is absolutely fantastic Rhys. I can see you will be having a great time flying it. I sure hope that you can get to use MSFS now that it supports helicopters.
  10. It sounds like you have a great simming setup Rhys. Can I suggest if you want the best scenery you make the move to MSFS. Bets FSX hands down, and in the near future NZ is in for an upgrade. It's years since I have used FSX and the new technology is amazing.
