  1. Lovely shots, Mikee. Which simulator is it? Plus, you obviously flew in Covid-19 mode:
  2. I love this thread, as you might guess. Mostly I do leave some comment, but only if I can positively contribute. Or if I can turn the discussion to a cold drink made from hops and barley.
  3. That sounds like fantastic equipment Ken. You may need to add a photo here... Same for me here, currently. We´ll see if there is some interesting stuff made by them for MSFS.
  4. I can easily add it up, as I do have a list of all the software I´ve bought since 2012. I do know how much I spent for this current computer in 2012, and for its upgrade in 2017 (this was about 600 EUR without looking in the files). And now he has come to the end of his usage period - 10.5 years is not so bad. Which means I could also tell you what the new machine will cost, and it is for sure more than your indicated "upgrade", Rodger. Which means: If you can prolong the lifetime of your rig by investing in RAM, SSD and a GPU, it might be a good move. Knowing that GPUs can cost a fortune nowadays. Why don´t you let us know what you have and want to replace?
  5. Catalogue-ready shots. Nice would be PeopleFlow on the beach, and a good phone connection for the famous Red...!
  6. Good flight, pictures - and hint, Graeme!
  7. Great base for holiday as well... as we can see! Now we can exactly pick our hotel of choice.
  8. A brilliant shot, Matt. Covering most of what we may know... I am quite sure it is not Palm Springs. From the snow amount it could be many NA places of the last hard winter, but I´ll try to narrow it down: Is that snow pile from Alaska, maybe even Yakutat?
  9. Okay, I have found some fresh shots. So let me "guess": It it Coolangatta, @boetie Graeme?
  10. Oh, and I love it how banks, the German railway or some mileage programs hide themselves behind multiple computers to log in. For using the German rail I need 2 accounts (general and abo functions) and at least 2 of their 5-or-so apps. The extreme for me was a swiss bank (last week), that required a computer, a smartphone and some archived paper from 2015 to grant access to MY money.
  11. There should always be a plan B, in case of power or server breakdown, or a hack. Or whatever you can imagine.
  12. Sure, you got it once again. Anybody able to post a new shot?
  13. That´s no good, Rob, you got to go travelling... In the meantime I have compared OrbxDirect with my photo archive and found this one, not nearly as beautifully designed as Vancouver, but a brilliant place to travel.
  14. I can second these thoughts & strategies, totally. And a good portion of humour, whereever you are, helps so much. Good memories also help in relaxing times, for example remembering the fantastic vacations we had in the last half year.
  15. Indeed, fantastic shots and scenery. Enjoy the barbie!
  16. That is a great looking place! I do not know where it is, but let me guess: North American west coast?
  17. I could add photos of both Changi and Frankfurt taken in the last months. Just not yet done by Orbx…
  18. And I have overseen the railway line, which should be somewhere between the trees...
  19. That looks like a classical airport surrounding, Graeme. Concrete everywhere, all the car parking facilities - just the railway connection is missing. I assume this is not Yakutat?
