  1. You are right Larry, the lovely slope is similar. 100 points out of 100. You got it, Graeme. I could not post the entire picture, as it was too easy with the rego of the plane.
  2. Sorry, it is not in France, Larry. Good thoughts, Matt. It is warmer climate, and I have it for P3D.
  3. Okay, to keep this post rolling: A picture that I have not taken directly, I have only been close to there. But the place is just so special...
  4. I also like a fair bit of reality: Real weather, appropriate traffic and study-level aircraft. Realistic flight-planning when I fly IFR, and recognizable scenery for VFR (that said I will finally add MSFS to my list). What I do not need is doing maintenance on my aircraft, that would be too much for me (let the airport crew do it...).
  5. In fact there is no English speaking country on mainland Europe. Only Ireland remains with English mother tongue in EU.
  6. Still too many unknown places for me. My first guess Compton Abbas?
  7. An amazing jungle of skyscrapers. Imagine this place 30 years ago!
  8. Hmmm, Europe and English speaking. There are not so many…
  9. Now, still a wild guess, but more specific: is it France?
  10. Ah, now I recognize the bay. You are over Lower Hutt. For me Wellington looked like this, flew much closer to the CBD (a few weeks ago):
  11. Oh, that looks difficult. Even the continent can be various. Let me start with a guess: European mainland?
  12. Intersesting shots, Carlos. And... I can not recognize the New Zealand City, do you remember which one it was?
  13. Seems to be this quest was too easy. Or did you all know the place so well, because of the brilliant Orbx scenery? However, this was an absolute fantastic trip, to be recommended for everyone. Amazing nature and views. I HAVE to add some more airport pictures for you, even if you did not need more hints. I only recognized at home that this picture is blurry. I may have to travel there again... And a little screen background, good inspiration for another flight in the Caravan.
  14. We live in a 10-party house since 1999, which has pros and cons. The biggest pros probably come from close partnership: Be it the caretaking for our cats once somebody is travelling (we have a WhattsApp group "cat servants"). And one of the highlights came up during our recent renovations (in Covid time): We had our kitchen and bathrooms totally removed (even the walls were changed), there was no heating or water either. During that time our neighbors gave us a key to their flat, so that we could use their toilet and shower - could it be a more intimate connection? Helping each other is really great, besides chatting and drinking together. Did I forget to mention that we all meet during sports events (in summer only) in the garden, set up a video beamer and watch together? The supply with cold drinks and a hot barbie is always ensured.
  15. Here you are. One of my biggest pleasures having reached this place.
  16. And they look somewhat historic, may be Longreach. But this is not Orbx. So I´d go for Wollongong?
  17. Fantastic clear shots, once again, Iain!
  18. Uh, that is hard. At least we see some real no-frills aircraft over there, not these shiny jetliners...
